Silver (Japanese: シルバー Silver), also known as Black in the Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys manga, is a fictional character in the Pokémon. He serves as the rival to the main protagonists of Pokémon Gold, Silver, HeartGold, and SoulSilver Versions. He is the son of Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket.
