The Supōtsu Parodī Nettowāku was a joke sports network created by RECHSOFT and used in commercials made for Purple Urge in Japan. The "network" never reported on anything other than people playing Purple Urge at baseball games and showing off footage of the game.

The SPN came into existence when the employees at RECHSOFT noticed an abundance of sports networks in the US, and decided to make a parody of one to advertise how strange Purple Urge was. The ads were immediately brought off the air once Purple Urge was cancelled in Japan.
