Sega (officially stylised as SEGA[1]) is a third party gaming company whose mascot is Sonic the Hedgehog. In the past, they have made many game consoles and handhelds, but stopped at the beginning of the millennium, after decline of the Dreamcast, but still released games of their own. Sega has worked with Nintendo to some games, including the Mario & Sonic series and Nintendo vs. Sega Rumble!! and F-Zero GX for the Nintendo GameCube. Aside from Sonic, their other most popular series are Yakuza, Super Monkey Ball, Virtua Fighter, Puyo Pop, Wonder Boy, Alex Kidd, Shining Force, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Billy Hatcher, and NiGHTS.
