Ruby Racers is a umbrella game made by Sorastitch and it is the second game in the Gemverse. It is a racer in the style of Mario Kart and introduces several elements such as weapons and a double-dash type mode.
Gameplay is similar to Mario Kart; with characters and cars being seperate slots to select. Characters have their own special power and cars have different weight, speed and handling classes.
Characters influence nothing but powers; it's the car that decides how you play. As well as that, power-ups are not the only way to attack; you use weapons as well that are attached to your car. Each car can also have up to five turbos that can be saved up for bigger turbos; highest stops time while you blast like normal.
Single Racer is a basic mode that allows you to drive in a car with one character against every other car.
Double Dash is a mode where two characters can be in the same car and they can drive while another character is out; requiring opponents to take out both characters. Both characters can use different weapons as well, giving double fire power.
Story Mode is the story mode for the game. More information will be posted later.
Cups allow you to race in cups to unlock characters, tracks, and weapons.
Classic strips you of the weapons and gives you a mostly vanilla experience.

Mario
Mario is a plumber that often does rescue missions for the Mushroom kingdom. He kicked off the kart racing genre, so it's not a surprise to see him.
Kaizo Invisible Block - Puts an invisible block behind him. When activated, the block will explode.
Luigi
Luigi appears alongside his brother; he has done a multitude of things that stand out when compared to Mario such as investigating a mansion full of ghosts.
Boo Swarm - A swarm of ghosts will come out Luigi's exhaust and attack those behind him.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic, the fastest hedgehog alive and could easily beat a rainbow-haired pony, appears to race. He's being forced into a car though; those frictionless shoes are against regulation.
Cyan Laser - Sonic goes at incredible speed, cutting into anyone that gets in his way. It lasts only a few seconds though!
Haruhi Suzumiya
Haruhi Suzumiya is the founding member of the SOS Brigade with the purpose of finding aliens, time travelers and espers. She is incredibly eccentric and anti-social, with no interest in "ordinary" humans. She also, unknown to her, has the god-like abilities to change, destroy, and reshape reality.
Celestial - Creates a giant Celestial that will get in the way of other racers. Celestials are physically impossible, and could not exist in the real world. For instance, they are not strong enough to support their own weight and will tumble after two cars hit it.
Izuna
A 16-year-old girl who was born and raised as a kunoichi. She's stubborn, and often doesn't listen to others. Unemployed after her old master Mugen decided that ninjas were obsolete, and booted her from his castle.
Katana - Cuts up the kart in front of her by throwing a katana to the kart in front of her.
Megaman
A robot who was converted to battle some robot masters by his creator Doctor Light. He can use their powers after defeating them.
Metal Blade - A bar on the screen appears beside him and he can throw Metal Blades until it runs out.
Finn
Finn is the last human in Ooo, and is missing several teeth from biting rocks and trees. He also has long, flowing, blonde hair that he hides under his bear cap.
Ice Ninja - Gains two giant ice nun-chunks in front of his car and they swing on the side, knocking the cars that get in their way.
Jake
Jake is Finn's best friend and were raised together by Jake's parents. He has stretchy dog powers.
Gut Grinder - Becomes obsessed with gold and turns into the Gut Grinder, knocking anyone in his way out.
Jake
Jake Peralta is a talented but childish detective. Peralta shows "class clown" traits, constantly pulling pranks and making jokes at the expense of his colleagues, particularly his partner Santiago.
Coolest Kill - Turns his weapons upside down, making them far more powerful.
Holt
The 99th Precinct's strict new Commanding Officer. Holt is known for his cold and robotic manner of speaking and lack of outwardly visible emotion. The Nine-Nine is Holt's first command despite many years of outstanding service, something he attributes to prejudice against his homosexuality.
Cupcake Match - Lines cars up and sprays paint on them. When three colors match, the karts explode.
Unten
The hero of Zeon. Dedicated to saving Zeon from the grasp of Doomulus Grime.
Midas Unten - Unten eats a Glistening Blump and turns into Midas Unten. He can plow through cars like a knife through butter!
Mai Shiranui
Mai is a modern-world young female ninja and the granddaughter of the ninjutsu master Hanzo Shiranui, with the ability to create and control fire.
Mizutori no Mai - Car becomes covered in fans, which fly like birds and strike into the other cars.
Bonne Jenet
A pirate who despite coming from a rich background, would rather steal money than ask.
Many Many Torpedoes - Bonne Jenet releases a bunch of torpedoes onto opponents, causing serious damage.

Identity Disc
This disc can be thrown like a boomerang, and hits cars with a medium amount of impact and speed.
Goomba
A tracking object. Once thrown, the Goomba will hobble over to the car and if not run over by a car it will take out roughly a third of the car's health. Only three can be sent out at a time.
Fan
The fan is basically useless if you don't use for a period of time, but it becomes extremely powerful when it has been used for more than five seconds. It has quite a charge and it's effects aren't immediate, but it's a powerful weapon. Once a charge has been built up, it will let out a spurt of flame.
