Reten is Unten's counterpart from an alternate universe. Unlike the other Alternate Untens Reten actually played some part in the destruction of his Zeon and later his entire universe.
Appearance
Reten is a Beorn and thus appears similar to a bear. He has orange, unkempt fur and his eyes are the reverse coloring of normal Beorns. He wears a bandana around his neck with a black and white shield emblem attached to it. He has a gold tooth and three large claws on each hand.
Personality
Back in his original universe Reten was an arrogant prick with a bit of an ego he had earned for being one of the baddest motherfuckers in the criminal underworld. His involuntary inter-dimensional roadtrip has seemingly changed him into a more disgruntled but equally dangerous prick who doesn't take as many risks.
Abilities
Although Reten can't manipulate electricity like the other Untens, he makes up for it with his claws, his guns and his ruthless demeanor. Reten often uses mind games to turn his enemies against each other before taking them out with his trusty hand cannons called Heartbreaker and Sol. In Fantendo Smash Bros. Ultima he discovers that he is Chronokinetic, allowing him to manipulate time. Despite his abilities allowing for a full range of time manipulation abilities Reten is only capable of "erasing" time by create time periods of 5 seconds and under where all "effect" is removed from its respective "cause". He also discovers the Beorn's natural ability to kill gods.
History
Prior History
Surrealist Security Prison
Reten first came into notoriety after he became a semi-famous smuggler. One botched heist later and he had landed himself in one of Nine's Surrealist Security Prisons. The prisons were built to subliminally alter the criminal minds to eventually become soldiers or secret police in Nine's military units. Reten was the first person to ever escape the building but was quickly re-captured and made a part of Nine's elite squadron in exchange for immunity,a pardon and quite a bit of money.
After That
Due to him being an alternate Unten, Reten shares a lot of his history such as living on a Zeon controlled by Doomulus Nine. Unlike Unten he was actually working for Nine up until he assassinated him and stole the super weapon his beorn advisor built. He was now on the run and Zeon was plunged into anarchy. He traveled the universe for a while with his super weapon, causing trouble to who ever crossed paths with him. until he got caught up in some gang warfare and accidentally triggered the super weapon he'd kept for nearly two years. It detonated, creating a large wormhole that swallowed nearly everything within the universe and sent them to a myriad of other universes. Reten and some others were sent to The New Fantendoverse.

- Reten's pistols are references to SCUD: The Disposable Assassin. The pistols share similarities with SCUD's own pistols and are named after 2 SCUD models in the comic series.
