|Full Name||Rephael Lodestone|
|Date of Birth||July 10, 1999|
|First Appearance||Epica & Sarona (Unlockable Playable Character)|
|Family and Relations|
|Attica (twin sister)|
Rephael is character that doesn't have his own series. He also has a twin sister, Attica.
Rephael has light skin and dons a shirt with a stripe and long-sleeved dress shirt with plaid patterns on the front, side, and back of the shirt; there are no patterns on his sleeves. He has messy hair and some noticeable hair that sticks out. Rephael is also a bit taller than his twin sister, Attica.
He is a bit shy at times, but also very relaxed, hard-working, and curious; Rephael even gets nervous at certain times unlike Attica, she's always unworried. He also has more intelligence than his sister, so Attica would obviously come to him when she doesn’t know something.
Rephael and Attica were both just regular kids who weren’t very social, thus not having much friends. But they were noticeable from kids calling them names like “Magnetwins” or “Twin-ttraction” because they always stuck together no matter where they are found. Coincidently, they had a lot of interests in magnets and won two science fairs demonstrating the use of them. Their last science fair had a change of pace when they met 23 year old Professor Jurgen; he adored their magnetic project and decided to take them along as apprentices afterwards. (Yes, they won that science fair by the way.)
As apprentices, Jurgen had shown many of his projects that involved magnetism and the twins couldn’t be more excited to see them. Then one day, the twins were messing around with a bunch of magnets; Rephael repelling his two magnets together and Attica making her magnets attract to each other. Jurgen was about to fix a machine that can transfer an object’s property into humans. He found it kind of a dumb idea to make it, so he wanted to change it into something else. But before he ever got to that, one of his cats decided to be playful and jump onto the machine, accidentally pushing a button that shoots a laser; Rephael and Attica were both zapped by the laser. Jurgen ran over to them in shock and picked up the magnets, noticing that they weren’t repelling or attracting each other, they were useless. The twins wake up after a minute of unconsciousness with no marks or burns. Jurgen haven’t seen a difference in one them, until he noticed Attica having a few paper clips on her hand. He then takes Rephael’s hand and hovering it over her hands making the paper clips move off. Jurgen was flabbergasted as he learned that they have taken the properties of magnets.
He wanted to see how the “abilities” will work for them. As he tested them, he discovered that they could fight others and defend themselves with the abilities. They could also bend heat and sound waves in a different direction and many more. The twins had to control their powers by wearing gloves that is covered with mu-metal spot at the palm. After a month of wearing the gloves, they were able to use their abilities at will.
Now, they continue to be apprentices for Jurgen and maybe they could go on special missions to put testing their power to the test.
Strangely, Rephael and Attica both have magnetic powers, but he can repel things. Pretty much he can push things away, which would make a good shield for Attica or anyone in general. But it's only more helpful if the enemy or object had metal properties. He has ways for offense, which is repelling the enemy back or making a object bounce back to its attacker. Rephael can also hold an object with metal properties and repels it towards his target when he lets it go, it's like a slingshot or a gun if you think about it. He can also repel heat and sound in a different direction. His weakness is heat as it can store in his hands and the powers will grow weak; cooling down can regain his abilities. Even going in the cold can make his magnetism even stronger. He can also float by lifting himself int the magnetic field. Same goes for Attica as well.
If Rephael gets his hand on wired batteries during his uses of powers, he’ll transform into Electromagnet Rephael. He can shoot zap bolts to inflict pain or paralyze enemies or infuse objects (if magnetic) and attract or repel them; this is the only time he can use attraction. He can also emit EM pulses to disrupt any technology around him. He also make traps that only works if the subject has metal properties
Of course, they have a brother-sister relationship. They'll tend to bicker and tease each other, but they always remain best friends no matter the case.
Right off the bat, Rephael found Jurgen a bit weird mainly because he owns thirty-six cats. Nonetheless, he respects the professor and admires his work.
- He and Attica were originally Zé and Ze in this, but the creator gave up on it and abandoned it completely. But he recovered it and decided to give the characters another shot, except with major changes.
