Princess Ruto is the princess of the Zora tribe from the Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. She first appears as a child in the first part she is very outspoken and pushy. She gives Link the Zora Sapphire as an engagement ring, she then appears again as an adult and they find out that she is the water sage. She releases that her engagement to Link was just him humouring her and she does not hold him to it.

Ruto is one of the confirmed characters for the upcoming Wii platformer Nintendo Princesses. Whether she is a playable character is currently unknown however she was seen with the other confirmed playable characters.
Super Mario MHL: Series 2
Ruto will appear as one of the playable characters in the Nintendo Wii hockey game Super Mario MHL: Series 2 as advertisement for Nintendo Princesses. She along with many other Nintendo Princess such as Daisy, Peach, Zelda and Midna appear.
Super Mario Band
Ruto is one of the 16 Legend of Zelda characters in the Nintendo Wii music game Super Mario Band and she is one of the 8 Legend of Zelda characters that you start with. She appears along side other Nintendo Princesses Daisy, Peach, Zelda and Midna.
Singalong Legends!
Ruto makes her debut in the Mario Singalong! Series in Mario Singalong Legends! as an unlockable to unlock her you have to "Don't Cha" by The Pussycat Dolls with Link and "Heart of Glass" by Blondie with Zelda.

Hyrule Heroes
Ruto is a playable character in Hyrule Heroes. She attacks with water, simaliar to Sidon. She also has the swim ability, allowing her to restore some damage in any stage with water while touching the water. This only works once though.
