Prickly Piranha Plants are enemies that appear throughout the Super Mario Galaxy Series. They resemble Piranha Plants, except they are larger, purple, and have thorns on their stems. They can attack Mario by slamming their heads ontop of him.

Koopa Kart SeriesEdit

Prickly Piranha Plants have not appeared in a Koopa Kart game yet. However, they are scheduled to replace Piranha Plants in the upcoming game Koopa Kart Galaxy.
