Gameplay[]
Each world has a specific Genre, a Demon of the Rift who represents it in the Final World, and a Legendary Dragon that serves as an optional boss.
KirbiMiroir's World[]
- Demon of the Rift: Catastrophe
- Legendary Dragon: Blue Dragon
The game fits the description of an RPG - each player controls a character's actions in battle - when the character's gauge fills, they can act. When there aren't enough players to support the number of characters, players can control more than one character. The player explores the world to find the Goal Ring (Or defeat the boss), facing down Random Encounters on their way.
Each level has five stages, the last including a major Boss Battle, and each stage containing several areas to explore. The first three levels are played through in KirbiMiroir's World, and the next five are a part of the Final World.
Note that not all characters are default - while Theodore is always in the party, the player must recruit Ash in 1-1, Kirby in 1-2, and Viridi in 1-3.
Each character has their own specialities to make them roughly fit the description of certain job classes from Final Fantasy - Theodore is a Knight, Ash is a Summoner, Kirby a Mystic Knight, and Viridi a Red Mage.
Equipment[]
Equipment can be bought from the Shopkeepers on the Stage Selection Screen and in stages. The varieties of equipment change with every Level, with more equipment added over time.
The following table shows available weapons. If a weapon has "-" as its cost, it means that weapon cannot be bought in the shop.

Magic[]
Magic is split into three categories - Black Magic focuses on damaging the enemy. White Magic focuses on healing, but can also be used to damage the undead. Finally, Copy Essence Magic can be utilised to enhance and modify the user's physical attack.
Spells can be purchased at the Stage Selection Screen of each world, along with consumables and certain pieces of equipment. When a spell is purchased, both the regular version and the Copy Essence equivalent will be obtained. Magic from Levels 1, 2 and 3 are available initially in KirbiMiroir's World, but stronger Magic must be bought in the final world (Tornado and Blink, however, can be obtained prematurely by defeating the Blue Dragon in 3-3), save for Flare and Auto-Life, which are earned by defeating optional bosses in Level 8-1 and 8-2.
Black and White Magic is exclusive to Viridi, and Copy Essence Magic is exclusive to Kirby.
All spells, once cast, expend some of the character's MP. Once it's all run out, they can't use magic.

Summoning[]
Exclusive to Ash, this form of magic allows Ash summon a Pokemon to help him out in battle. These spells are similar to Viridi's Black and White Magic, but bear notable differences.
As a side note, all Summons ignore Reflect.
Wisps[]
Wisps can be obtained by dealing damage to enemies, and through StreetPass. White Wisps will fill up the Rainbow Gauge once collected. When the Rainbow Gauge is full, pressing R will give your party a damage and resistance bonus for a short period of time.
Below is a table of special Wisps that can be used in battle. Using a Wisp counts as one turn. The damage that every wisp deals is based on the party's combined HP.
Minigames[]
Besides the main game, there are several different Minigames available from the menu in KirbiMiroir's World.
Name | Unlock Criteria | Description |
---|---|---|
Gem Mode | Available from the Start | Swap Gems around the board! Make matches of three to get points! Make a match of four or more to make Special Gems!
