"Pokétale" is an upcoming Pokémon-based RPG. The game is slated for a early 2017 release, and will feature all Pokémon from each generation in some way. The game, in terms of gameplay, will be based on the Mario & Luigi series, focusing on turn-based gameplay, items, and leveling up, while the characters, enemies, story, and setting will be based on Pokemon.

Gameplay

The gameplay, unlike other Pokemon games, is played much like the Mario & Luigi games. You and your characters are on the left while the enemy or enemies are on the right. You have a few seperate options, like an option to attack, an option to run, and an option to use items. Once you choose your option, your opponent can attack. You can either dodge the attacks or take the hits. However, the overworld is different. The overworld is very big and expansive, with a format similar to the first two Paper Mario games. The graphics will be 32-bit, and like Banjo-Kazooie, will have little "blurbs" when characters are talking.

All 10 of these characters are unique in some way. (10 because Plusle and Minun are the same character.)

Pikachu can use the Lightning Rod attack, where lightning can also keep opponents in place for 1 to 2 turns.
