Charizard
Ember
Shoots a small blast of fire.
  • Flame Burst - Increases the projectile size (and damage) and leaves a small-to-medium splash damage range.
  • Dragonfire Blast - Greatly increases the projectile damage and leaves a magma pool in the splash damage.
Metal Claw
Slashes enemies with a razor-sharp claw, creating a razor effect when used.
  • Steel Wing - Increases damage, range, and slash damage.
  • Iron Tail - Increases damage and adds a groundbreak effect, which stuns enemies in a larger radius than before.
Dragon Rage
Shoots a blast of energy which does damage regardless of enemy type and resistances.
  • Dragon Pulse - Blast does more damage and passes through foes, damaging enemies beyond.
  • Draco Meteor - Blast becomes more powerful and explodes when it hits an enemy, launching 5 more blasts which target random enemies.
Gust
Shoots a gust of wind.
  • Air Cutter - Shoots multiple wind projectiles (which do more damage).
  • Air Slash - Air projectiles travel straight forward, but do much more damage.
466Electivire
Electivire
Thunder Punch
Hits foes with an electrified punch.
  • Thunder Strike - Punch becomes more powerful and causes shock damage.
  • Thunderous Combat - Thunder Punch becomes a series of punches and kicks that shock and greatly damage foes. Ones that aren't Ground-type, anyway.
Karate Chop
Strikes foes with a chop; high critical hit rate.
  • Cross Chop - A two-handed chop that does significantly more damage; slow rate of usage, though.
  • Dual Chop - A Dragon-powered chop technique that hits the foe with strong damage twice.
Thunder Shock
Stuns fos with a small jolt of electricity that does minor damage.
  • Thunder Wave - Stun duration is longer.
  • Discharge - Electricity arcs and hits/stuns more enemies.
???
122Mr. Mime
Mr. Mime
Confusion
Attacks foes with a mental assault that spins them around.
  • Psyshock - Foe gets assaulted with electrical damage while spun, doing additional damage.
  • Psychic - Foe gets thrown up in the air while spun, the crashlanding causing damage on top of the shock damage and the dizzying spin.
??? ???
Barrier
Uses hands to generate a sturdy shield from attacks.
  • Light Screen - Some projectile attacks bounce off the barrier. Shield has greater resistance.
  • Mental Powershield - Shield has greater resistance; absorbs energy from attacks then projects it as a counter-attacking beam of sorts.

Trainer's Bond: Triple Finish

When Red activates his Trainer's Bond, it summons all 3 of his Pokémon on the field at once to team up, attack regular foes and put various takedowns on the bigger enemies:

  • Electivire stuns a foe with Thunder Shock, then Charizard blasts it with a Dragon Pulse.
  • Mr. Mime throws a foe into the air with Psychic, then Electivire nails him with a Thunder Punch.
  • Mr. Mime quickly shoots and dazes a foe with Shadow Ball, then Charizard follows up with an Iron Tail.
  • And then the true Triple Finisher: Mr. Mime uses a Barrier-boosted Shadow Ball to daze a boss, then Charizard rains a Draco Meteor on its head, then Electivire slams into the foe with a powerful Thunder Punch.
