Pokémon Unova Adventures (Pocket Monsters: Unova Adventures RPG in Japan) is an RPG spinoff in the Pokemon series for the Nintendo DS. It is made by Prehistoric Games, and was released in mid-to-late 2011. The game was announced at E3 2011, said to be the last Nintendo DS Pokémon game.

Pokémon Unova Adventures is a role-playing video game with adventure elements, presented in a third-person, overhead perspective. There are three basic screens: an overworld, in which the player navigates the Pokémon; a battle screen; and the menu, in which the player configures their team of Pokémon, items, or gameplay settings.

Pokémon Unova Adventures has the same type of gameplay as the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. The Pokémon you choose in your team travel around Unova fighting others. If you run into an enemy (or use any of their moves), they must fight in the way in the regular Pokémon series. You can also buy items and badges from Minccino's shops. If your earn many points, you can unlock a mini-game. In the overworld, the set is the lead Pokémon you choose. The leader can use it's moves outside of battle.

The battle system used by your Pokémon is the same as Pokémon Black and White. Everything is the same, and you can choose any of your group members to be in battle.

Big news is spreading through Unova. Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom have decided to do something despicable: a plan to take over the world. Now that the news has reached to the forest, all the Pokémon have decided to split into groups. You have chosen your group, and now you must journey to the hiding spot of Reshiram and Zekrom to stop their evil plan.

You can choose any Pokémon to be in your group except for Minccino and Legendary Pokémon.

  • This is the only game to not show humans.
