Why hello there, <insert your name here>! The name’s Rocky (tbc)! What’re you reading? ...Oh, Pokémon Dawn and Dusk! I love this one! Hey, did you know that I made it? It’s true! I made this page, along with its subpages and whatever it may have within it. So please, don’t make any edits to it. Unless I really screwed up on grammar, or it could use some categories, or if you have permission. If none of those apply, don’t touch anything here. Also, feel free to comment. I worked hard on this and would love feedback of any kind.

Thanks a bunch for reading Pokémon Dawn and Dusk, <insert your name here>! Have a good day!

Story

Noise Badge

After confirming your player information with the local professor, Professor Zelkova, you are seen in your room. On your desk, you find a Town Map. When you go downstairs, your mother tells you that, being your first day as a trainer, Professor Zelkova wanted to meet with you personally to give you your starter Pokémon. Before you leave, however, your mother gives you Running Shoes, which allow you to run. You are also asked to return after your talk with the professor.

You step outside and into your hometown, Riverside Town. As you walk to the professor's lab, you are greeted by your rival. This rival is determined by which gender the player chooses; he shall be referred to as the player rival. It turns out that your rival is getting his first Pokémon today as well. You are also greeted by your childhood friend, Kevin, who is, coincidentally, getting his first Pokémon as well. All three of you enter at once. After a talk with Zelkova about the world of Pokémon and what your journey will include, you are given a choice between three starter Pokémon: Gritten, the Grass-type; Coalcub, the Fire-type, or Salamine, the Water-type. The player rival chooses a Pokémon that is super effective against yours, and Kevin chooses the Pokémon that yours is super effective against.

You then remember to return home. When you do, your mother hands you a PokéDex, a device that records info on Pokémon you encounter. She then asks you to try and record as many Pokémon as you can on the PokéDex, as it is her life's dream to see all of the region's Pokémon data collected, although she never was a trainer herself. You accept her request and head out on your journey. When you leave, your rival confronts you and asks for a battle. After the battle, your starter Pokémon levels up, and your rival explains to you the experience system. You then head out to Route 1, where you seeKevin in the grass, trying to catch a Jayjay. After catching it, he gives you five Pokéballs to catch Pokémon to have on your team.

After completing Route 1, you enter Artemia Town. You find three individuals, members of the villainous Team Atomic, trying to rob people of their Pokémon. Your rivals enter town and are appalled. They battle two of the members, leaving you to battle their leader, Artie. With your Pokémon levels 8-10 by now, it is a fairly easy battle. Team Atomic retreats for now. Town members thank you and give you Potions and Revives as rewards for your bravery. You then head down Route 2, which leads into the Artemia Forest.

After going through the forest, you arrive at Sermino City, home of the first gym. When you approach the gym, you see your rival exit, saying his battle was successful and that he got his first badge. You enter the Sermino Gym and are forced to battle four trainers, each specializing in Sound types. After defeating the trainers, you must face the Gym Leader, Jared. His Pokémon are level 10-12, so it is fairly easy. When he is defeated, Jared gives you the Noise Badge as well as HM01, Cut.
