The Pokédex is an item present in almost every Pokémon game to date. It is an electronic device capable of storing all kinds of data on any Pokémon that its owner has captured; it also snaps a picture of any Pokémon the owner comes across, regardless of capture status. In the Korabo region, much like the Kalos region, there are three separate versions of the Pokédex, each containing 150 Pokémon. All 450 can be captured between the two games, while some others not part of the original 450 can also be obtained after defeating the Elite Four, but obtaining all 725 Pokémon requires transfering from previous games.
The Northern Korabo Pokédex is obtained if the player selects Kanto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh as their home, while the Southern Korabo Pokédex is obtained if the player selects Johto, Unova, or Kalos as their home. The Korabo Reef Pokédex is obtained after defeating the sixth gym and heading on over to the island separated from the rest of the region.
