Pokémon Racing U is a Pokémon game for the Wii U. The game is like Mario Kart but with Pokémon instead. The game is released on late November 2013.

Even though it doesn't feature all Pokémon, it features great part of them, either as playable characters or just NPCs.

Story

In Story Mode the player is one of the starter Pokémon from one of the 6 generations (including Pikachu). The player then must choose a partner, another starter Pokémon from a different type or other default characters that can't be picked as player.

The story focuses on Darkrai who is trying to stop the racing in Pokémon World by making his minions race and cheat. The player goes through a series of races and must win them as the story goes and ends in a final race against Darkrai. The player must win this race and send Darkrai flying out of the Pokémon World and save the lost Pokémon. In the end Arceus will talk to the player and become a playable character in Arcade Mode.
