Meadoriole is based off from meadow and oriole.
Uguinabi is based off from うぐいす uguisu (bush warbler) and 靡く nabiku(flutter).Uguisu is the word to describe orioles in Japanese as they have beautiful voices just like a bush warbler. In addition, nabi is also short for navi or navigation which plays into the migratory aspect of the Pokémon.
