Bivalver (Japanese: Shengen, シェンゲン) is a dual Water and Psychic-type Pokémon. It evolves into Clamemoir while holding the "item "Orb of Senses" while leveling up. It is exclusive to Pokémon Wood.
Biology[]
Bivalver is a clam-looking Pokémon with dark lines running down its hard body. It has dark blue "lips" that separates the top and bottom half of the shell. The top part has three black eyes with pink irises that, while seem sentient, are transfixed looking upwards. Expelling from these "eyes" are fumes of pink clouds.
Abilities[]
It will eject these pink clouds in order to confuse enemies. These pink clouds alters the visual senses of the enemies and causes these to hallucinations so strong that it damages them. It moves around in the water by shooting out water from the eyes on it shell.
Behavior[]
It prefers to lie on the ocean floor without being disturbed. It will begin to puff out the pink clouds should it be disturbed.
Diet[]
Bivalver feeds on tiny microorganisms found in the ocean.
Habitat[]
It can be found in oceans and bays.

Bivalver is based of the sea monster Shen which is able to create mirages. It is prevelant in both Japanese and Chinese folklores.
Name Origin[]
Bilvalver is based off from bivalve and esper.
シェンゲン is based off from シェン shen (referring to the Chinese word for the clam-monster) and 幻 gen (illusion).
