Pokémon Magic and Time Versions are the two primary Paired Versions of Generation VII. The games feature all Gym Leaders and Elite Four members from earlier regios, but in special tournaments. There are also new Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, and a new Champion. The players start their journey in the new regio Ryse.
Their version mascots are FemcodexM and VirchornT.

Plot
Edit
The player starts their journey in Smaven Town, along with two friends, Julie and Carlos. They are celebrating their birthday of becoming ten years old (the age one should have to become a Pokémon Trainer) and they have gotten a present from Professor Piscees. It contains the starter Pokémon. The player has to choose one, while their best friends choose from the two left over. The player has to battle their friends then.
After the battles, they head to the Professor's laboratory. There they get the chance to give a nickname to their starter Pokémon, and she gives all of them a PokéDex.
There they also hear about Team Volt. It's a very dangerous organisation that they have to watch out for. They steal Pokémon from their Trainers, and use them to eventually try to rule the world. The gang has been spotted much lately.
When the player travels through Gym #1 (Hedgarome Town), Gym #2 (Decenya City) and Gym #3 (Groupia City), they won't find any team Volt members, but when they finish Gym #3, they will come across some for the first time. The three friends find out that battling alongside each other is the best solution, and so a Triple Battle against three Team Volt members begins.
When the player goes through the next town, Wanze Town, they will have to fight against yet another Team Volt member, being Elese. She is one of the more important leader-like members, and she tries to hinder the player while other Volt members try to blow up the newly found Hister Cave, which contains a lot of history from the regio.

Features
Edit
Pokémon Magic and Time Versions reintroduce a lot of old features, such as seasons, time, day, Pokémon following their Trainer (although they haved the choice wether they are out or not now), and more obviously, the Gym system and the Elite Four with their Champion. The game's overworld appearance is somewhat similar to that of Pokémon X and Y Versions, meaning it is in 3D, but it looks a little more like it is shown from farther above.
Constellation Stream
Edit
One of the more interesting features is the Constellation Stream, in which a Trainer can send their Pokémon through the use of wi-fi into the Pokémon's constellation. It is operated via an Internet website, like the Pokémon Dream World, though it works different. The player has their own star, which they can decorate, and they can explore the constellation of the Pokémon sended. Unlike in the Pokémon Dream World, they can't take along Pokémon, but they can send data to the game, which makes certain Pokémon available. To do so, the player has to collect items in the Constellation Stream, and take them along in their small reed basket. If the basket is full, they have to take out another item and leave it on the place there.
Pokémon Sticker Contest
Edit
- Main article: Pokémon Sticker Contest
In the Pokémon Sticker Constest, the player can gather stickers and paste them on their Pokémon, making them gain the sticker's effects. When the player uses a lot of stickers based on the Pokémon's type, the judges will give better notes.
Puzzle House
Edit

One of the new features is the Puzzle House, where the player can do a lot of minigames with their Pokémon; for example, they can choose Hide-and-Seek, and an area, and they have to find their Pokémon in that area within the time limit. If done so, they will get a prize.
