Nintendo eShop Description
In Kalos, there are many wonderful Pokémon to obtain, but sometimes it is hard to keep them all in the Pokémon Center's PC. That is why Professor Sycamore has bought the Pokémon Kalos Camp, and is letting you use it! In the Camp, you can care for your Pokémon, go on quests assigned by the professor, and battle wandering trainers. Play as your Mii, or look the way you do in-game; it's up to you! Capture legendary Pokémon, but look out! Each legendary is only available for a window of time, so hurry! Transfer in Pokémon from Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Get it now, because it's free!
There are three available modes to play in this game: Care, Quest, and Battle.
In Care mode, you can explore the field that Professor Sycamore has rented for you. While in Care mode, you can send Pokémon from X or Y to have them come to the camp. In the Kalos Camp, you can play with your Pokémon similarly to the Pokémon-Amie. By playing with your Pokémon, your friendship level with them will grow, giving them slightly more power in battles. While in the camp, your Pokémon's levels can go up slowly. For example, if a Level 1 Pokémon is at the camp for a month, when you retrieve him he will be about Level 15-20.
Throughout the game, Professor Sycamore will talk to you and assign you a quest to go on. On quests, you can take up to six Pokémon in the camp to go with you on quests. The quests are meant to hunt down rare legendary Pokémon, and when you catch them, Sycamore allows you to keep the Pokémon. For example, the first quest you get in the game is to climb a nearby mountain, whilst battling Ground and Rock Pokémon, to find and battle Entei. Completing quests will not only earn you the legendary, you also earn PokéMiles from Professor Sycamore. Also, when you are on quests, your Pokémon with you grow stronger!
Many wandering trainers come to the Camp to find trainers worthy of battling them. This is the Battle mode. However, this mode only has true benefits when your 3DS is connected to the Internet, s you can meet real life Trainers to battle. You can pick up to six Pokémon to assist you in Battle Mode, and then talk to trainers walking around. Battling earns EXP and Battle Points, one per trainer you defeat.
