"Pokémon Inferno Red & Torrent Blue" are the upcoming remakes of the first generation of Pokémon. They're being remade by the same team behind the critically acclaimed Pokémon Sun & Moon, and will be using the same engine as the Pokémon games on the Switch. The game will be available on February 27th, 2021, which happens to be Pokémon's 25th birthdary. It will be made for the Nintendo Switch.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is a fusion of both the original Red & Blue and the previous Sun & Moon. The world is huge and the game is fully three dimensional. You move around the world and catch certain Pokémon in the wild. These locations differ, ranging from grass to sand, and from water to lava. The world is one of the most expansive worlds in any Pokémon game so far. The flat and linear world of Kanto has been transformed into a living breathing landscape, ranging in landmarks and the selection of Pokémon.
You use the analog sticks to move around in the overworld.. In addition, the arrow keys serve as both additional ways to walk around AND an alternate way to select things from menus and select options on the battle screen. The + and - buttons are used to go to the main menus, while the HOME button is used to exit the game. The A, B, Y, and X buttons are used to use attacks in battle and do certain things in the overworld.
