  • Some legendaries have been moved, but that will be explained in the regions.
  • Aside from Kanto, "home" is a family friend's house.
  • When you arrive at the port, the family friend flies you to their house before you start your journey.
  • When you go to a new region, any pokémon above level 10 are stored with mom untill after the Elite Four/Pokémon League of the region. There are exceptions.
  • All version exclusives of the past are in this game.
  • Moon Stones, Sun Stones, Dusk Stones, Dawn Stones, and Everstones are now available at department stores for $9,000.

  • Unless specified, everything is same as of FireRed/LeafGreen.
  • The player is not allowed to go to the Sevii Islands untill after defeating the Kanto Elite Four.
  • Safari Zone is still open.
  • Moltres is back in Victory Road.
  • Starters appear after Elite Four: Bulbasaur - Viridian Forest, Charmander - Mt. Moon, Squirtle - Route 20.
  • Cerulean Cave is accesible after Elite Four.

Sevii Islands

  • After Finding Ruby and Sapphire, Old Map Copy is retrieved which allows access to Southern Island with Mew which is now in the Sevii Islands.
  • Birth Island and Naval Rock are gone from Sevii Islands.
  • In place of Moltres, is the Crystal Tamer.
