“This is the pre-evolution of the well-known Pikachu. A bit weak, but far speedier. This rascal may hurt itself sometimes!”
— Description for Pichu
Pichu is the sixth downloadable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Zenith. Pichu is the pre-evolution of the widely known Pikachu, and has been originally discovered by Professor Elm with an egg.
Pichu debuted in Smash in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but peculiarly never made another appearance since.
Pichu can be seen as a much quicker clone character of Pikachu, but also quite light. Pichu may even hurt himself when performing powerful electric attacks. Different compared to Melee is that Pichu is much more evasive now.
A Poké Ball is thrown, where Pichu appears out of.

Pichu
If this looks like a juvenile Pikachu to you, then you aren't wrong. Pichu is one of the first Baby Pokémon ever discovered and is Pikachu's pre-evolution. All credit goes to Professor Elm for the discovery! As a baby, Pichu are yet unskilled with storing electricity, so even though they can shock even adults, they shock themselves, too! They even let a few jolts loose when they're happy.
