Paragoombas also appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Adventure as enemies in the Gritzy Valley stage. They have some atvantages over Mario and Luigi's certain attacks, like their hammer. If Mario or Luigi attempts to hit them with a hammer, they'll miss.
