Parabones (sometimes called Para Dry Bones) is a flying Dry Bones much like the Paratroopa enemy that appears in recent Mario games. Unlike Paratroopas, they don't loose their wings when stomped, but shatter and regain their wings in a few seconds. They can be defeated with an iceball (followed by a ground pound) or a Star.

Parabones make their debut in New Super Mario Bros. D.I.Y. as an enemy like the Dry Bones. The player is able to select where they appear. In this game, they have red eyes.
