Paper Mario: Across The World, (Super Paper Mario U in Japan or in Korea Paper Mario 5) is an upcoming game for the Wii U. It is planned to be released on October, 11, just in time for the holidays. It will return the old style of battle and partners, along with stickers and flipping. It will also be released on October 11 for the ten year anniversery for 2004's Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Bowser once again kidnaps Princess Peach, and this time, shatters her Magic Wand, which holds the World together, into seven pieces. Each piece is in a different place in the world. Mario must now retrieve the wand pieces, and defeat Bowser, and stop the end of the world, which will happen if the wand is not in its place for too long. Some areas where Mario and friends must travel are The Mushroom Kingdom, Haunted Kingdom, Desert Kingdom, Big City Kingdom, and more.
