The Nintendo Reverse (or simply, the Reverse and the Nintendo Throwback outside of North America) is a home console created by LYON Games which will be released on August 25th, 2012. One game (Mario Kart Deluxe) will be released with the Reverse.

The Nintendo Reverse has high-definition graphics, along with wi-fi, and video chat. (Note: The video chat feature can only be accessed if the camera accessory has been purchased.) But the greatest feature of the Reverse is its backwards compatibility (hence the name, Reverse). The Nintendo Reverse can play any game from all Nintnedo home consoles (NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube and Wii). The Gamecube, Wii, and Reverse games are put in the disc slot, while the NES, SNES and N64 games go in the cartridge slot.

The shape of the Nintendo Reverse controller is like that of an XBOX/PS3 controller. There are two control sticks, a Start button above the left stick, a Select button above the right stick, and a power button in the middle. Tapping the power button will take the player back to the system hub, suspending the software like on the 3DS. Holding said button will turn off the system. On top of the controller are the shoulder buttons - L/R in front and LZ/RZ in back. On the left side of the controller is the directional pad. On the right are four buttons in a diamond - to the right is A, on top is X, to the left is Y, on bottom is B. In between the shoulder buttons is a motion sensor for Wii games, which is used by pointing it at the system.
