The Nintendo Cinematic Universe is a shared fictional universe that is the setting of video game films independently developed by Nintendo of America, based on characters from the Nintendo video games. The setting is often much like the Nintendo games(excluding the Mr. Game & Watch movie, and Pokemon Gotta Catch em All!). The universe was established by crossing over shared plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. Two films have been released theatrically so far: Super Mario Bros, and Metroid. There are soon plans to make a Zelda movie, a possible Kirby movie (maybe), a Donkey Kong movie, , and a Super Smash Sorastitch (tbc) later announced he would create a R.O.B movie, as R.O.B is one of his favorite Nintendo characters. Bigbro223 (tbc) announced he will direct the sequel to Super Mario Bros. (2012 film) and Tetrisplayer (tbc) started the production of Conker's Bad Fur Day (2012 movie). Also, MGX Studios has confirmed a Mr. Game & Watch movie set for release in early 2013. Sactown Studios recently confirmed a live-action Pokemon film, due for 2014. In early 2014, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment had confirmed that they will work together to create a movie based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, called The Subspace Emissary.
