Mystic Ruins North
Mystic Ruins North is almost entirely underground, with the way out either going into the Underground Zone, into Green Hill Zone, into Gigalopolis or Marble Garden Zone. This part of the station is rarely regularly inhabited; once people arrive, they get out of there as quickly as possible, more than likely to Green Hill Zone. In the main game, the only prolonged use of the station is by Team Covert operating the train through to Sunset Park underground and Team Big chasing them out of there.
Mystic Ruins South
Mystic Ruins South is not as underground as its northern cousin, with links to Marble Garden Zone, Hill Top Zone, Spring Yard Zone, Metropolis and Oil Ocean Zone. It carries on for some distance after the station itself terminates, allowing access for Station Square as well. This bit is modelled after the lines of Morden underground station, which carry on to Morden South railway station.
Mystic Ruins Underground
The Mystic Ruins underground is the area between Mystic Ruins North and Mystic Ruins South. It is maintained by the acerbic Fiona Fox.
Contained in the Mystic Ruins Underground is a Chao garden. Fiona Fox reckons that traffic in and out of it is virtually rock bottom; however, this is because most people access it via the Station Square branch.

|Mystic Ruins did not originate from fanon, and more information can be found on their respective wiki(s). You may read more about it on the following wiki(s):|
It is notable for being the only location on the map to appear more than once (it goes underground in the center, underneath Marble Garden Zone and thus is marked on the map twice).
It appears in Sonic Time as a stage in the story. Tails' Workshop is still there from Sonic Adventure, and it still has a pretty jungle-like atmosphere. However, it was re-named "Mystic Forest".
