Mushroom Warriors is a Dynasty Warriors spin-off produced by Hammy Games Inc. in association with Team Ninja and Omega Force. It, like Hyrule Warriors, features Super Mario characters in a Dynasty Warriors gameplay, with some twists.
Note: An asterisk (*) denotes a weapon which must be unlocked through the use of an amiibo
Mario's primary weapon. Not a traditional weapon per say, Mario's hand is imbued with fiery energy, allowing him to fry his enemies. Standard combo attacks make fluid use of fire, whereas follow-ups use fireballs and blasts of fire.
Mario's go-to melee weapon. Mario wields a large hammer filled with references to other Mario games. Among these are drilling, oil drums and ground shaking pounds. His standard combo attacks are exactly what you'd expect from a hammer, finishing with a ground pound. Follow-ups include the aforementioned attacks, as well as block-breaking and throwing hammers.
Mario’s third weapon is a water-affiliated weapon known only as a Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device, or simply FLUDD, FLUDD attaches itself to Mario’s back when equipped. This weapon specialises in shooting high-powered blasts of water at foes, and is excellent from a distance. Through the use of FLUDD’s Rocket Nozzle, Mario can launch himself into the air for some finishing attacks.
Luigi's primary weapon is, rather unexpectedly, a Dark elemental. The Poltergust focuses on wind-based attacks, unsurprisingly. A lot of his more powerful attacks involve vacuuming up enemies and, more often than not, launching them. Luigi can also summon ghosts and Polterpup to assist him.
Luigi dons a suit with bee-like features, including the signature yellow and black stripes. He's given the ability to hover around, allowing him to take enemies to the skies. Luigi can also sting enemies, cover them in honey or summon some bees to help him out.
Luigi’s Ice Staff is a water-affiliated weapon. This weapon grants Luigi all the powers of an Ice Flower, and more. Beams can be shot from the tip of this staff to freeze enemies, as well as creating large pillars of ice. Many finishing attacks use snowballs to their advantage.
Peach’s Parasol is a lightning-affiliated weapon. This weapon can conduct gusts of wind to blow away enemies into the skies. The Parasol excels at juggling, but can easily strike enemies down as well. By creating strikes of lightning, this weapon becomes a force to be reckoned with. Furthermore, Peach can jump into the air and hover for a bit to deliver the final blow on juggled enemies.
Toad’s Pickaxe is a fire-affiliated weapon. This weapon gives Toad attacks based on Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, except not as heavy. The Pickaxe specialises in hacking at opponents and is very strong. Toad can also summon blocks to smash and objects to hit at enemies to keep things fresh. Certain attacks will use Double Cherries to split Toad in two or three, allowing him to strike multiple enemies at once, to make up for this weapon’s narrow range. To finish things off, summon Draggadon to launch fireballs at your foes!
|When used, the character will toss a flurry of fireballs. This can burn down vines which block your path.|
When powered up, a sole fireball will be tossed. This giant fireball explodes upon impact.
|When used, the character will hop high into the air, accompanied by a small twister. This can activate Spin Switches and obtain high-up items.|
When powered up, a bigger twister will occur, followed by four very small ones. Upon hitting the ground, the character will do a drill-like technique.
