- Team Mario: Mario and Luigi where relaxing at there house when a Toad riding a Yoshi burst's in. The Toad tells the Bros that Bowser has made a "doomsday device" and is thretning to use it on the Mushroom Kingdom. The Mario Bros, the Toad and the Yoshi head out to stop Bowser.

Gameplay[]
The game plays like Super Mario 3D Land & World, where you play as characters in a 3D environment trying to get to the end. However, now there are up to 4 characters (players or CPU's) must work together to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and get to the end.
