The Mii Gunner makes it's second return to the Super Smash Bros. franchise in Super 5mash Bros. 5. One of the Mii Fighters alongside Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter, Mii Mage, and Mii Athlete. The Mii Gunner delivers powerful blasts from it's arm cannon and can utilize high-tech gadgets to put the hurt on opponents. The Mii Gunner has three Mii Specializations: Mii Engineer, Mii Sharpshooter, and Mii Grenadier.

Special Custom Set A
|Neutral Special||Charge Blast||3.15% (uncharged), 22% (charged)||Charges and fires a large energy sphere. Functions like Samus's Charge Shot.|
|Custom 1||Laser Blaze||2.6-3.6% depending on the distance the projectiles travel||Fires spammable green energy pellets that only deal damage and slightly push enemies back; similar to Fox's Blaster but fires at a slower rate.|
|Custom 2||Grenade Launch||8% if all hits connect||Fires a grenade in an arc that will bounce along the ground a short distance and explode after a very short time after launch. The grenade will also detonate on impact with enemies, and charging this special will increase the distance the grenade is launched.|
|Side Special||Flame Pillar||4% (projectile), 6% (flame pillar)||Fires an energy shot diagonally down that erupts into a pillar of flame that lingers for a few moments, similarly to Robin's Arcfire and Ness's PK Fire. Using it in midair will fire it at a 45° angle, another similarity to Ness's PK Fire.|
|Custom 1||Stealth Burst||10.8-15.4%||Fires a small shining energy shot that detonates when the button is released, similarly to Zelda's Din's Fire. Holding the button gives the shot more distance and power before detonating, as well as making it vanish before the buton is released or it reaches maximum power.|
|Custom 2||Gunner Missile||4.5% (homing missile), 10% (super missile)||Functions like Samus's Missiles. Holding the button will fire a Homing Missile. Inputting like a Smash attack fires a Super Missile.|
|Up Special||Lunar Launch||7%||Releases an explosion beneath himself/herself, launching into the air.|
|Custom 1||Cannon Uppercut||9% (concussive blast), 8% (uppercut)||Fires a concussive blast, then propels himself/herself with the arm cannon while punching into the air. A sweetspotted concussive blast can meteor smash. Similar to Palutena's Rocket Jump in that it meteor smashes opponents below the Mii Gunner if it is used midair.|
|Custom 2||Arm Rocket||0%||Fires a small flame burst, then propels himself/herself with a stream of flames from the arm cannon. By holding the Control Stick in a direction, the Mii Gunner can travel more horizontally. Similar to Pit's and Dark Pit's Power of Flight.|
|Down Special||Echo Reflector||2% (activation), 1.4x damage (reflected projectiles)||Activates an octagonal shield that reflects projectiles. Functions like Fox's Reflector.|
|Custom 1||Bomb Drop||2% (bomb), 9% (explosion)||Drops a small bomb that rolls along the ground and explodes upon contact with an enemy. Functions like Samus's Bomb.|
|Custom 2||Absorbing Vortex||---||Covers himself/herself with a glowing energy shield that absorbs energy projectiles and converts that damage to healing, similarly to Ness's PSI Magnet. Heals 1.2 times the damage he/she would have taken.|
Mii Engineer Move Set
|Neutral Special||Gun Drone||12% (clean), 7% (late)||Mii Engineer activates the Gun Drone. It will stay in one place and fire ammo at opponents who come close to it.|
|Custom 1||Flamethrower Drone||Instead of producing ammo, it fires a steady stream of fire that does damage up close.|
|Custom 2||Stun Drone||0%||Instead of dealing damage, it produces an electrical shock that shuts down opponents an can daze them.|
|Side Special||Gravity Grenade||8.2% (clean),6.8% (late)||Mii Engineer throws out a gravity grenade that causes opponents to be drawn into the grenade. It then produces an explosion.|
|Custom 1||Anti-Gravity Grenade||10% (clean),7% (late)||It causes opponents to float into the air momentarily before detonating; dealing damage and knocking opponents upwards.|
|Custom 2||Repulse Grenade||5.4% (clean), 3.4% (late)||The grenade has a more knockback when it detonates; pushing them out.|
|Up Special||Jet Pack||0%||Mii Engineer activates his/her jet back and boosts off into the sky. The player can control the trajectory while they boost upwards.|
|Custom 1||Launching Jet Pack||5%||Mii Engineer boosts upwards at a vertical trajectory. It will hit opponents when the Mii boosts up.|
|Custom 2||Damaging Jet Pack||9.5% (per hit)||Much like the default but with less recovery distance. Flames will spout out and deal damage when traveling.|
|Down Special||Hacking AI||7%||Mii Engineer fires a cybernetic attack that shuts down opponents. It will put opponents into daze/helpless state.|
|Custom 1||Intense Hacking AI||13%||Does more damage but less dazing/helpless time.|
|Custom 2||Slow Hacking AI||3.8%||The projectile is much slower and locks down opponents longer albeit lacks power.|
Mii Sharpshooter Move Set
|Neutral Special||Longshot||5% (close), 6% (close mid), 7% (mid), 8% (far mid), 9% (far)||Mii Sharpshooter fires a bullet that does more damage the further it travels and knockback.|
|Custom 1||Increased Longshot||5% (close), 6% (close mid), 7% (mid), 8% (far mid), 9% (far)||It has much lengthened reach and traveling distance.|
|Custom 2||Piercing Longshot||2% (close), 3% (close mid), 4% (mid), 5% (far mid), 6% (far)||The ammo passes through opponents and obstacles though does less damage.|
|Side Special||Distant Thunder||12% (clean), 8% (late)||ii Engineer fires an electrical grenade that does shock damage.|

Mii Grenadier Move Set
|Neutral Special||Bouncing Grenade||2% (bounce), 12% (explosion)||The grenade bounces along before exploding. When it bounces, it does damage and slight knockback backwards. It will bounce five bounces before exploding.|
|Custom 1||Rolling Grenade||1% (roll), 15% (explosion)||Mii Grenadier throws the grenade which rolls before exploding. It lasts for 6 seconds before exploding.|
|Custom 2||Ricochet Grenade||6% (ricochet), 8% (explosion)||The grenade will ricochet off the opponent; dealing more damage but the explosion does less damage.|
|Side Special||Frag Grenade||5% (first explosion)4% (per hit)||Fires a grenade upwards which detonates; sending smaller explosions to the ground.|
|Custom 1||Carpet Grenade||8% (per hit)||Fires five grenades which spread out and descend down to the ground.|

|Final Smash 1||Full Blast||46%||The Mii Gunner shoots a strong laser, with two small laser cannons firing smaller lasers. Can be angled. Similar to Samus's Final Smash, Zero Laser.|
|Final Smash 2||Mii Parade||Varies||Mii Brawler summons his/her Mii friends. Mii's from within the the console or handheld will appear and begin attacking the opponent with punches and kicks. If there aren't any Miis, random Mii's are generated. The Mii does various amounts of damage.|

- Hold the arm cannon with their hand and cocks it down, similar to one of Samus' winposes. (Right)
- Thrusts with the arm cannon on the ground. (Right)
- (Mii Gunner) Causes smoke to emit from the arm cannon and swipes it above his/her head.
(Mii Engineer) Presses some buttons of the arm cannon. (Mii Sharpshooter) Cocks arm cannon and smirks. (Mii Grenadier) Bursts an explosive round from the arm cannon. (Down)
Character Selection Screen
- Charges the arm cannon.
- Causes a burst from the arm cannon to shoot out.
On Screen Appearance
- Departs from an energy shot, then poses.
- Descends from the top and lands with an explosive effect.
- Appears via Teleportation Grenade.
Note: Mii Brawler shares the same Victory Poses with it's Mii Specializations.
- Starts shooting in various directions, and poses.
- Rolls in from offscreen, then fires arm cannon.
- Swings arm cannon around, then fires it while pointing it ahead.
- Mii Gunner cocks the arm cannon and fires on both sides.
- Mii Gunner points the arm cannon to the right and left and then points upwards.
- Mii Gunner twirls around and then points the Arm Cannon forward.
- Mii Gunner claps his/her hands while looking forward.
- Mii Gunner hangs his/her in shame.
- Mii Gunner appears to be busy and rocking back and forth.

Mii Gunner's trophies can be earned by completing Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, All-Star Mode, and Boss Battle mode. In addition, further trophies can be found during matches and at the Trophy Shop.
