Midna and Imp Midna are a Pair Of Unlockable Characters in Super Smash Bros. Obliteration. Midna was originally the current princess of Twili, a race of mysterous beings who were banished into a realm known as the Twilight Realm by the golden goddesses. Likely by hereditary means Midna was chosen by her people to lead the Twili race in hopes to preserve peace, this move however upset a young, mentally ill twili warrior named Zant, who wanted the Twili People to get revenge on the light world for their banishment. Zant turned his people into shadow beasts and Midna into an imp and leads a full fleged assault on Hyrule, covering the land in Twilight and turning its inhabitants into helpless spirits, leaving them to be either slaughtered or captured by the Shadow Beasts. After Zant and Ganondorf are Defeated, Midna is subsequently transformed back into her true human self and shows gratitude to Link for saving both worlds before vanishing beyond the Mirror of Twilight. Feisty, Snarky, and knowledgable, this spunky Shadow Princess is ready to cast a dark light on the brawl with a moveset highly based around green Twili Energy in hopes to shock and inspire magical prowess in a true fight for the ages.

Imp Midna after being reansformed into her form by Zant, eventually finds an imprisoned Link in his Wolf Form and frees him as the pair begin a worldwide quest to save both her own people and Hyrule from Zant and by extension Ganondorf's dark will, to restore true light to both dimensions. Imp Midna rides on Link's back while he is in his wolf form and sets out on a quest with him to retrieve the Fused Shadows, and take down both Zant and Ganondorf. Like her Human Form Imp Midna is ready to bring some twili flair to the battle with a moveset based mostly around green twili magic as well as assistance from Wolf Link. Brave, Snarky, yet Kind and Determined Imp Midna is ready to unleash the angels and demons on the contest from inside of her in a quest to reveal her true form in a truly exciting fight for the ages.


Midna Moves[]

Attacks []

Type Name Damage Description
Neutral (1% = bolt 1, 3% = bolt 2, 6% = hair, 1.5% = loop, 10.5% = total). A bolt of green energy, followed by another, finishing off with a hair whip and then a flurry of green bolt energy attacks.
Forward Tilt (10%) Smashes her palms together creating a burst of energy, can ko middleweights or

heavyweights at 85% and 100% respectively

Up TIlt (7%) Attacks by firing a Bolt of Light Energy
Down Tilt (6%) Does a Quick Flip on the Ground, Good Juggle Ability
Forward Smash (16% = clean, 10% = late). Midna deals a heavy energy surrounded punch with her in arm form,
Up Smash (2% = hits 1-4, 0.8% = hits 5-7, 5% = hit 8). Performed similarly to Zelda’s but Midna uses a single finger to create green bolts of energy upwards,
Down Smash (13%) Swings a bolt of light energy around her, has good knockback,

Up  (7% = hair, 3% = throw, 10% = total). Throws opponents upward then hits them with her hair, can KO at later percents
Down Hair Drill (7% = hair, 4% = throw, 11% = total) Throws opponents downward, then drills them in the abdomen with her hair, this is Midna's Strongest Throw


Taunts[]

Up = Midna levitates curled up while folding her arms out of boredomn Then she draws something in the air using energy.

Side = Points forward with her body facing the screen while looking forward and giggles.

Down = Lays down on her stomach in midair while spinning and saying something in Twili language.


Special Moves []

Side Special Shadow Wolf Blitz (13%) Midna summons and hops on a shadow Wolf Link which charges forward attacking with a spinning attack. High knockback against heavyweight opponents.
Up Special Rubic Warp (N/A) Midna shrouds herself in black particles resembling a Rubics Cube and warps in the direction inputted. She can attack right after warping as there’s no ending lag at all. 
Down Special Shape Shift (N/A) Transforms into Imp Midna

Forward Tilt (5% = hit 1, 8% = hit 2, 13% = total). Imp Midna whips her Fused Shadow hand forward twice in a horizontal manner, this is one of the strongest forward tilt attacks in the game with decent damage and knockback, but it also has a small hit box,
Up Tilt (8%) Performs a flip kick in a full arcing motion, has limited range and high ending lag, but average knockback
Down Tilt (9%) Kicks with both legs towards the ground at opponents, has poor hitbox
Forward Smash (16% = clean, 10% = late).  Midna's Fused Shadow hand punches forwards with Twilight Energy surrounding it,Deals moderately heavy damage and Knockback,

but a small hitbox.

Up Smash (3% = Energy Waves 1-3, 6% = Final Blob, 15% = Total/All Hits Connect). Charges and shoots 3 waves of Twilight Energy from her hands, before unleashing a final

blob upwards, can hit multiple opponents at once for the same damage,

Down Smash Fused Shadow Slasm (18%) Charges up and then unleashes a gigantic hand at the ground, this move has a 1/3 chance of burying the opponent in the ground,


Aerial Attacks[]

upward of five times in addition to Spin Damage.

Forward (11%) Imp Midna fires an energy beam forward while in midair, this beam has decent power but little

knockback and extends around as far as Pikachu's height of around one and a half feet

Back (2% = Particles 1-7, 14% = Total/All Hits Connect). Shoots seven Twilit Particles behind her while in the air, these particles can provide great damage and knockback if all hits connect,
Up Fused Shadow Swat Imp Midna uses the power of the Fused Shadow's and swats back and forth at the opponent while in midair,

it is the weakest of Imp Midna's Aerial Attacks but still has decent knockback,

(3% = hit 1, 6% = hit 2, 9% = total).
Down (14% = Sweetspot, 9% = Sourspot, 4% = Shockwave). Generates energy between the ends of her helmet and then rams the opponent to the ground, results in a

Meteor Smash if Sweetspotted and deals shockwave damage to adjacent opponents afterward, this is Imp Midna's Strongest Aerial Attack,

Dash Attack Wolf Link (4% = hit 1, 8% = hit 2, 12% = total). Call's on Wolf Link and climbs aboard Imp Midna/Wolf Link then dash across the stage twice

for great damage and knockback but high ending lag, it is one of games strongest Dash Attack's.

by a dash attack thanks to its knockback and low ending lag, despite Imp Midna's slow speed

Back (4% = Throw, 3% = Hit 1, 6% = Hit 2, 13% = Total). Tosses the opponent behind her, and then blasts them with a pair of

Twili Energy Beams, this is Imp Midna's Strongest throw,

Up (4% = Hit 1, 3% = Throw, 7% = Total). Throws the opponent upward and then jumps and hits them with her helmet,

for moderate damage, has high ending lag but decent knockback,

Down Twili Energy Pelt (1% = Energy Ball Hits 1-6, 4% = Throw, 10% = Total). Throws the opponent beneath herself then blasts them with

6 pelts of Twili energy to send them upwards, can be followed by an Up Tilt or Smash Attack due to knockback,


Taunts[]

Up = Imp Midna holds a small twilight sphere in her hands then releases it in the air where it quickly evaporates into sparkles above her head.

Side = Teleports through a Twili Portal on the groung and then reappears.

Down = States "This Contest Is Turning Out To Be a Snore" in Twili Language.


Special Moves[]

Neutral Special Fused Shadow Punch (28% = Fully Charged Close, 19% = Fully Charged Mid, 15% = Fully Charged Far),

(18% = 3/4 Charged Close, 14% = 3/4 Charged Mid, 10% = 3/4 Charged Far), (14% = 1/2 Charged Close, 8% = 1/2 Charged Mid, 5% = 1/2 Charged Far)

Imp Midna charges up a punch using the power of her fused Shadow's and then unleashes it at an opponent, the punch has up to a seven foot range and can hitmost opponents within that height class based on size, damage is determined by how close an opponent is as well as the amount of charge put into the move.
Side Special Beast Assault (16% = per hit) A copy of Wolf Link appears and Imp Midna jumps on it's back, it dashes forward before Midna releases and Wolf Link runs about as fast as Sonic until it hits something or falls of and edge where it disappeas. (Note: Yeah I know Link is already in this Super Smash Bros. But this is just a copy of him. Similar to the Wolves Midna has in Hyrule Warriors.
Up Special Particle Vanish (3% = impact) Imp Midna turns into Twilight Particles for 5 seconds. During these 5 seconds Imp Midna can fly anywhere based on the direction the control stick is tilted, If she is in the air when the 6 seconds are up she will fall to the ground.
Down Special Shape Shift (N/A) Transforms into Midna






Final Smash (Both Forms)[]

Final Smash (Both Forms) Mirror Of Twilight (N/A = Automatic KO). Imp Midna/Midna reverts to her True form (“Twili Midna/Human Midna”) depending on which form is present on the battlefield, states "What are you afraid of", and then grabs the opponent nearest to her and sends them into an animation which involves her summoning the Mirror of Twilight and sucking the victim into it, The is subjected to a series of frightening Shadow Beast imagery before being launched at over 200 MPH out of the mirror as if it were a cannon automatically KO'ing the foe, This attack doesn’t do any damage at all but it’s an automatic guaranteed KO against and opponent.
