Metroid Fusion 2: Fission is a fangame by Mcoolister. Please don't edit.

Metroid Fusion 2: Fission (メトロイドフュージョン2分裂, Metoroido Fyūjon 2: Separation) is an upcoming game for the Wii and the second instalment of the Fusion series.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is much like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, it's a 3D first person adventure. The controls are very similar to Metroid Prime 3's. Like using the Wii Remote to aim and fire, and using the Nun-Chuck to navigate, push buttons, and pull levers. In this game, Samus has the Fusion Suit from Metroid Fusion, and the Scan Visor from the Prime series. In the beginning of the game, Samus's Fusion Suit is no longer orange, but blue again, and most of her weapons from Metroid Fusion are gone.

Plot[]

Samus in the Fusion Suit.

After the events of Metroid Fusion, Samus had just destroyed planet SR388 by crashing theB.S.L. space station in an attempt to permanently destroy the X Parasites. She then set a course for Zebes to release the Etecoons and Dachoras. Once she lands, Adam tells her she has an incoming message from the Galactic Federation regarding the destruction of the BSL station and SR388:

"That was a spectacular stunt you managed to pull off, but it seems you have done more harm than good, the X have infected SR388 it's self the planet is off course and is heading for you. You have about one minute to escape before it collides with Zebes. Goodbye Samus Aran."

Samus then has to run back to her ship before the collision. On her way, debris from SR388 falls down on Samus, shorting out most of her abilities. Once she escapes, she watches the collision from space. The planets hit then bounce away from each other, leaving a large, green-glowing crater in Zebes. Samus flies down to investigate. She heads toward the large crater only to get infected by a brown, thick skinned X Parasite. Because of the Metroid DNA injection, Samus absorbed it. Samus then starts shaking, and she splits into four separate Samus's! One green, one purple, and one orange. (Original Samus being blue.) Each one of her fissions had different personalities, but the same mind and memory. Suddenly, the SA-X rose from the center of the crater. The four Samus's fired all at once at the SA-X, making it flee. Samus leads her three counterparts back to the ship so Adam can run diagnostics on them. In each mission you play as one of the 4 Samus's.
