Mega Man Volnutt is the main character of the Mega Man Legends series. His primary function was to be a Purifier Unit on a synthetic planet called Elysium, which houses what is called the "Master Unit". After being put in suspended animation and losing his memory, which was put into the bowling ball monkey friend Data.

In Megaman Generations, he is the only character to have 3D stages, and one of the very few that are forced to jump.

In Nintendo vs. Capcom, Mega Man Volnutt is a playable character.
