Mega Man: Dimension Journey 2 (title Mega Man: Dimension Journey II) is the sequel to it's predecessor and the 8th game in the Dimension Journey series.
Story[]
Mega Man is tired from fighting so he takes a break. During the night, a message from Dr. Light comes through telling Mega Man that Wily has collected a bunch of villains to build more bases and take over other dimensions. Mega Man goes to defeat them and Proto Man tags along with him.

- This is the second game in the Dimension Journey series where the player can only swap between two characters, the first game being Super Mario: Dimension Journey.
- Unlike the 1st game, all 8 bosses are selectable from the start instead of the first 4 only being selectable until they were defeated.
