Added by MarioSonic1243Mario X Sonic is a crossover fighting game for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS. It is the first time in the Mario and Sonic series to have a fighting game and marks the first installment of the Nintendo vs. Sega series. It is based off the first capcom vs. game, X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

The game's animation is the Rayman Origins style, but every character has their own outlining. For example: Sonic's outline is blue.

The game's gameplay is exactly like X-Men vs. Street Fighter, but with 2 differances:
- It's a 4-on-4 battle.
- Instead of sprites, it has Rayman Origins animation.

Mario's Voice Clips(In Gameplay)are taken from Super Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros Brawl,
Sonic is voiced by Roger Craig Smith in the Cutscenes but in Gameplay, He uses voice clips of Ryan Drummond From Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic Heroes.
High Pitched/Sped Up Versions of Ryan Drummond's voice from Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes are used for Classic Sonic.
Luigi Has His Normal Voice in the Cutscenes But in Gameplay, He Uses Sped Up/High Pitched Versions of Mario's Voice from Super Mario 64, Just Like He Did in Super Smash Bros 64 and Super Smash Bros Melee.
