1-Up Mushroom New

The user of this item will have a 1-UP Mushroom turning around the kart until an item or an enemy tries to hit the user. They are accumulable (the user can have up to three 1-UP Mushrooms). Hostile Question Block's events cannot be stopped with these items, except if a Peepa attacks the user of the mushroom.

Red Spiny Shell YBA
Red Spiny Shell New

The Red Spiny Shell follows the rival right ahead the user as a common Red Shell. Nevertheless, instead of hitting them as the Red Shell, it explodes as a Spiny Blue Shell. If this shell accidentally hits a player that was not the objective, it will explode the same way as if it hit the objective.

MiniMushroomNSMB2
Mini Mushroom New

The user can throw this item on the road or keep it at the back of the kart (although it will not protect its user from shells or other dangerous items). If a racer gets this mushroom, they will shrink for some time (just the same effect than a Thunderbolt or a Thunder Cloud).

DoubleCherryRed
Double Cherry New

The effect of this item is activated as soon as the user gets it. The user of this item will get a clone that will follow him until any of them is hit by an item or an enemy. If the clone is first hit, it will just vanish and the original one will continue the race as before, if the first hit is the original, the clone will vanish and the original will suffer the same effect as if they hadn't the clone. Besides, while they coexist, the clone and the original will be able to obtain the same item (one for each).

Berry
Berry New

This item can actually have several kinds and utilities. If the user keeps pressing the item button, they can use it as if it was a banana or a shell (the player that hits it will get the effect of the item), if they just press it, the user will be able to use it over themself. The kinds of berries are:

  • Classic Berry: The user will get extra speed for a short period of time.
  • DashPepper Dash Pepper: The user will get a greater speed for a short period of time. They may not be able to control the kart well due to speed.
  • BulbBerry Bulb Berry: The user will get extremely shiny. This effect may blind races that may be found near the user but also partially blind themself.
  • BlimpBerry Blimp Fruit: The user will float for a 5-10 second time. While floating, the user will be a little slower but will be able to avoid items like Red Shells or enemies.

QuestionBlockSM3DW
Question Block New

This item calls an event as soon as the user is revealed that they obtained this item. The event can be positive, neutral or negative. Here you can see the list of possible events that this item can produce:

  • RedCoin LTL Red Coin: The user automatically obtains the ten coins (the maximum possible amount).
  • Bandit MP11 Bandit: The third part of the racers (excluding the user) will lose their item.
  • 100px-Goomba - MarioPartyStarRush Goomba: The whole track will be full of Goombas (they will disappear after an item or a racer hits them).
  • WhompSSB4 Whomp: The user will get a Whomp in front of him (it may be large enough to make the race less visible), it will only disappear if the Whomp has someone to fall over (excluding the user).
  • 73px-Toadsworth artwork -- Super Mario Sunshine Toadsworth: Toadworth will cheer the user up, making the user faster for a 7 second time.
  • RedBooCarnival Red Boo: All the racers will replace their item with a Red Boo. As soon as someone activates one of them, the rest will be activated too.
  • PoisonMushroomfl Poison Mushroom: For 15 seconds, the new mushrooms that can be obtained (Mushrooms and Triple Mushrooms) will be poisoned and will make their users slower.
  • ItemBoxMK7 Void Item Box: For 10 seconds, all the Item Boxes will not give any item.
  • Peepa MPSR Peepa: A Peepa will occupy the user's item space until it disappears or the user hits another racer with the Peepa (it will turn around the victim's kart). 20 seconds after his appearance, it will vanish.

Circuits

There are several kinds of circuits that are concentrated in cups. Apart from the Nitro (New Circuits) and Retro (old circuits), there will be other two sorts of cups: Prima Cups and Shopping Cups. In the first one, there are different versions of the new circuits but with some differences, it can be a night circuit, like it was in Mirror Mode or the route has some traps... In the Shopping Circuits, you can also get those cups by buying the packs of cups, for example, in winter there may be a cup for Christmas circuits or in Summer one of tropical circuits.
