Mario Baseball: Triple Play!/Daisy Tornadoes

Daisy Tornadoes is a team in the Challenge Mode of Mario Baseball: Triple Play! that is headed by Daisy. The roster of the Daisy Tornadoes consists of a large number of enemies, many of which are found in or associated with deserts. In addition, the team also has a number of enemies from Super Mario Land, marking the first appearances of many since that game, as well as several characters found in Super Mario Odyssey's Desert Kingdom. In exhibition mode the team can also be named the Daisy Flowers, Daisy Pharaohs, and Daisy Sandstorms.

Most of Daisy's team names - specifically the "Daisy Tornadoes", "Daisy Pharaohs", and "Daisy Sandstorms" team names - originate from terms relating to deserts, with the "Tornadoes" and "Sandstorms" name referencing the common phenomena of dust devils and sandstorms respectively, and "Pharaohs" referencing both Daisy's title as the princess of Sarasaland and the title held by the rulers of Ancient Egypt. The "Daisy Flowers" team name, which returns from Mario Super Sluggers, is a reference to Daisy's name, as a daisy is also the name of a flower.

Daisy Tornadoes is an unlockable team, both in Challenge Mode and in other modes. The team can be unlocked for use in Challenge Mode by completing the Peach Monarchs story, and completion of the Daisy Tornadoes story will make the players available for use in all modes.

Roster

Daisy
	The princess of Sarasaland is a well-known athlete whose skills in the field are unmatched.
	Star Swing Star Pitch Flower Swing: Daisy hits the ball with a flower-tipped bat, and the ball will grow a small garden around where it lands to hinder the approach of fielders. Flower Ball: Daisy throws the ball and confuses the batter by accompanying it with a flurry of flower petals. Fielding Ability Super Dive: Daisy is capable of sliding a much further distance when she dives to catch a falling baseball.
Fighter Fly
	This fly was once an enemy but now bounces around the field effortlessly.
	Fielding Ability Super Jump: The Fighter Fly can jump higher than most others can while he's in the field, and does so at a fairly quick speed.
Mekabon
	This little robot likes to throw his head like a boomerang, even if it has no reason to do so.
	Fielding Ability Boomerang Throw: Instead of diving, Mekabon can throw his head like a boomerang to retrieve the ball from afar.
Pionpi
	A ghost from the Sarasaland's Chai Kingdom that are just as good at jumping as Mario is.
	Fielding Ability Super Jump: Pionpi can jump higher than most others can while he's in the field, and does so at a fairly quick speed.
Glydon
	Though he wishes to travel the world, this flying lizard's put in the time to become an ace player.
	Fielding Ability Super Glide: Instead of sliding, Glydon will glide through the air and catch the ball with no chance of fumbling it.
Jaxi
	This stone statue can run at incredible speeds, though he has a hard time turning around.
	Running Ability Quick Tackle: Should Jaxi win the Close Play, he will charge forwards at a high speed, barrelling down the baseman and knocking the ball away.
Tostarenan
	This local of Tostarena has a habit of dancing, so he's fleet-footed and always bouncing around.
	Fielding Ability Ball Dash: When the Tostarenan carries the ball, she runs at a tremendously high speed.
Chincho
	This mummified little guy may just lose his bandages when he's hit, but that does let him get around without issue.
	Running Ability Scatter Dive: Should Chincho win a Close Play, he will scatter apart and travel through the baseman to land on the base safely.
Spike
	Carrying around his large spiked bar gives this guy incredible stamina.
	Fielding Ability Super Dive: Spike is capable of sliding a much further distance when he dives to catch a falling baseball.
Stone Spike
	Carrying around his large spiked bar gives this guy incredible stamina.
	Fielding Ability Super Dive: Spike is capable of sliding a much further distance when he dives to catch a falling baseball.
Tatanga
	Though he's an alien of short stature, he has large ambitions and is surprisingly fit.
	Running Ability Enlarge: Should Tatanga win the Close Play, he will grow to an immense size and knock his opponent over, causing the ball to fly out of their grasp.
Boom Boom
	One of the Koopa Troop's strongest units is fast and powerful, making him a tough opponent to topple.
	Running Ability Spin Attack: Should Boom Boom win a Close Play, he will spin onto the base and knock any player out of the way, causing them to lose the ball.
Pom Pom
	Boom Boom's partner in crime whose large boomerang is her greatest weapon.
	Fielding Ability Boomerang Throw: Instead of diving, Pom Pom can throw her boomerang to retrieve the ball from afar.
