Mario () is a veteran and default playable character in the ninth installment of the Smash Bros. series, Super Smash Bros. Antagonize. Mario is in the S tier at number 28. Mario's ability is shooting fireballs, using his cape and spinning around. He can recover by leaping to the air with a straight punch. His Final Smash is frightening move and a possibly OHKO.

|Forward throw||Mario spins around once and throws the opponent forward.||9%|

|Basic special move||Fireball|
Mario shoots a bouncing fireball before fizzling out. The fireball can bounce off walls, but not ramps or slanted paths.

Mario shoots a large and stronger, but slower fireball. Bounces off from ramps and slanted paths, but not walls.

Mario flips the opponent sideways with his cape. This move can reflect projectiles.
Mario flips the opponent sideways with his cape, but a magical, exploding ball is launches when performing this move, this move cannot reflect projectiles.
Mario flips the opponent sideways with his cape, but it electrocutes the opponent upon touching it.

Mario does a leaping uppercut, dealing multiple hits and coins fly out of the opponent. Mario can recover with this move.
Mario does a leaping, flaming uppercut, dealing multiple hits and coins fly out of the opponent and they are sent flying. Good KO recovery move.
Mario does a leaping, drill uppercut after spinning like a corkscrew twice, dealing multiple hits, but coins don't fly out of the opponent.
|Down special move||Star Spin||Mario performs a spinning tornado, dealing multiple hits. After finishing the move, a Baby Luma from Super Mario Galaxy launches the opponent away. Tapping the special button makes Mario raise up to recover.||2%|
|Final Smash||Mario Finale||Mario releases a pair of spinning fireballs that grow larger as it goes off screen, dragging any opponent on its path.||5%|

Mario takes his hat, twirls around and puts it back on, similar to his "Course Clear" animation from New Super Mario Bros.
Mario grows bigger and shrinks down to normal size.

Mario throws out a Baby Luma (or Polari) and the Luma falls on Mario, making him stunned for a few second. If an opponent attacks the Luma, it will be blasted off the stage. If an opponent hits Mario while dizzy, the Luma will flee.
Mario moves his head from left to right.
Mario takes his hat off and puts it back on.
Mario has fire explode from his palm and makes a pose.
Mario charges up a punch and launches it out.
Mario leaps and twirls around before striking a pose.
Mario spins around and does a peace sign to the camera.
Mario throws out Polari or Baby Luma and it falls on Mario, causing him to be stunned, similar to his up taunt.

Mario can shoot fireballs, swing his cape, spin around with a Luma's power, even do a move which he launches two spinning fireballs that damages opponent very hard."

- Mario, despite in the canon series, is slower than Luigi, is faster than him ingame.
