Luigi's Mansion 3: Return is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It is the predecessor of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS, and the long awaited home console sequel of Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo GameCube.
Plot[]
The original owner of the mansion, the rich miser, Edwin Doe, returns. His soul is not at rest and wants to take revenge on Luigi for living in his mansion. Luigi must return to his mansion, once again sucking up ghosts with his new and improved, Poltergust 7000, collecting ghost souls. He must seal Edwin Doe in his original painting so he may no longer wreak havoc on Luigi's mansion.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay in Luigi's Mansion 3: Return is similar to it's two prequels, but in this game, certain ghosts can only be seen through the 3D Scream's camera. Taking a photo of them stuns them, making them visible through the naked eye, but only for several seconds. In that amount of time, you must suck up the ghosts before he becomes invisible again.
Controls[]
You may either use the Wii U Gamepad alone (In Classic mode), or the Wii U Gamepad as well as the Wii Remote and Nunchuk (In Expert mode). In Classic mode, the player uses the gamepad for both the 3D Scream and the Poltergust 7000, but in Expert mode, the player uses the gamepad for the 3D Scream, and the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for the Poltergust 7000.
