Lucy (明美 Akemi in the Japanese version) is a playable character in Fire Emblem Odyssey. She is voiced by Ryoka Yuzuki in the Japanese version and Colleen O'Shaughnessey in the English version.
Lucy is a girl from a village in Miyanoura. In her paralogue, she is trying to protect the people of her village from raiders, but is greatly outnumbered. Her mother protects her from a samurai and looses her life, causing Lucy to snap. When the avatar and their army discover the village, Lucy is going on a rampage and killing every enemy in sight, but greatly putting herself in danger as well. Quickly, the army jumps in to defeat the enemies and help Lucy, but she attacks the army units as well until the avatar goes up and talks to her. She then calms down and continues to fight.
Not much is known about Lucy before her paralogue. When she was fighting off against enemies in her paralogue, she is introduced as a brave girl who wants to protect her friends and family from danger at whatever cost. However, when her mother was killed, it caused her to snap. This revealed a very violent and reckless side of her personality, carelessly killing enemies in a fit of rage. After the Avatar talks her into joining their army, she vows to keep them safe and avenge the people of her village.
After the events of the paralogue, Lucy becomes a bloodthirsty monster with a knack for killing. In a conversation with the avatar, she claims that she's not the same girl she was before, saying that she was never as violent as she is now. With the death of the people in her village, she is often stressed at a very unhealthy level, and takes her mind off of it by causing bloodshed among her enemies. When she begins to open up to certain characters in the army, a somewhat sweet side of her is shone.
