Attacks are actions performed by characters to damage enemies in Paper Mario: Delta Force. Each one has its own, unique set of actions commands and stylish timings. Some are harder to perform than others, but will generally result in even more damage or extra effects. All stylish actions are performed by pressing Black WiiU A at the specified time.

Mario

Jump

Attack Action Command Stylish
Jump Press Black WiiU A just before stomping on the enemy 1 - At the apex of the kick-off
2 - At the apex of the second kick-off
Mario runs forward, then leaps into the air and stomps on the enemy, stomping twice if performed properly Both are a mid-air pose
Spin Jump Press Black WiiU A just before stomping on the enemy 1 - At the apex of the initial jump
2 - While descending after the pound
3 - After landing on the ground
Mario runs forward, then leaps into the air and stomps on the enemy, using a ground pound if performed properly The first is a spin while rising, the second is a backflip, the third has Mario lifting both arms

Hammer

Hammer Hold Black WiiU LeftStick left until the star (4th orb) lights up 1 - Just after the hammer hits the ground
2 - At the end of the backflip
Mario runs forward, then holds his hammer in the air before dropping it on the enemy The first is a backflip, while the second has Mario lifting both arms.
Hammer Spin Hold Black WiiU LeftStick left until the star (8th orb) lights up 1 - After the fifth spin
2 - When the spinning stops completely
3 - At the end of the backflip
Mario runs forward, then holds his hammer back before spinning around and knocking the enemy into others behind it The first has the spin slow down with a thumbs up, the second is a backflip, and the third has Mario lifting both arms

Luigi

Jump

Luigi runs forward, then leaps into the air and stomps on the enemy; he will bounce high into the air if performed properly The first is a quick rotation, while the second has Luigi fall back and hit the ground head-first
Spring Jump Hold Black WiiU A until the star (8th orb) lights up
Press Black WiiU A just before stomping on the enemy
1 - While launching into the air
2 - While descending towards the enemy
3 - At the apex of the kick-off
Luigi performs a short hop, then folds over towards the ground, launching into the air and stomping onto the enemy if performed properly The first is a quick rotation, while the second has Luigi fall head-first, and the third has him land on his back-side

Jab

Push Black WiiU LeftStick left when Luigi stops walking

2 - After pulling back
Luigi runs forward, stopping near the enemy and pulling his hand back; he will jab the enemy if performed properly, or otherwise fall over onto it The first has Luigi trip and quickly recover, while the second has Luigi spin around dizzily
Thunderhand Hold Black WiiU LeftStick right until Luigi is next to the enemy
Push Black WiiU LeftStick left, right, then left when Luigi stops walking
1 - During the initial approach
2 - After pulling back
3 - During the return
Luigi runs forward, stopping near the enemy and holding his hand in the air; he will jab the enemy and possibly stun them if performed properly The first has Luigi trip and quickly recover, while the second has Luigi spin around dizzily, and the third is a trip causing him to slide back into position

Peach

Slap

Peach runs forward, then proceeds to slap the enemy twice if performed properly The first has Peach wag a finger at her target, while the second has her give a peace sign and take out her parasol

2 - After the cyclone starts to move
3 - After the second Stylish
Peach runs forward, then repeatedly slaps the air in front of the enemies to create a cyclone that hits them all The first causes Peach to skip, the second has her spin around with her parasol out, and the third has her stop and give a peace sign

Parasol

Peach leaps into the air, then floats over the enemy and drops if performed properly The first causes Peach to surge upward, while the second is a stronger kick-off

2 - While floating through the air
3 - At the time of impact
Peach leaps into the air and floats over the enemy, then falls onto the enemy Parasol-first The first causes Peach to surge upward, the second has her rotate horizontally, and the third has her do a backflip

Bowser

Shell

Bowser approaches the enemy, then swips with each claw if properly performed The first is a growl and fierce swipe, while the second is a victorious laugh

Bowser leaps into the air, enters his shell, then spins around and drops onto the enemy if peroperly performed The first is an overly dramatic spin, the second has Bowser backflip out of his shell, and the third is

Breath
