Lethal Manlove Voyage is a umbrella game developed by Laughball Interactive and released in 2013 for Nintendo Immerse and PC (through Steam). It features several franchises and characters ranging across animation, video games, webcomics, live-action, film, and so much more. Unlike most umbrella games which are fighting games, Lethal Manlove Voyage is several genres, such as 3D action, dating simulator, roguelike, and several unannounced genres.
Laughball Interactive has announced yearly rebrands of the game, notified by a name change and new sidegames. 2014's rebrand is titled Lethal Manlove Voyage: Arcade Deluxe 2014.
The gameplay of Lethal Manlove Voyage is focused on combat in open 3D worlds. Each character has at least two attacks, and can be upgraded into a Sanctum Guard with increased power via Trials. As you fight off Signature P's forces across the worlds of the various franchises in the game, you find new characters to use and face bosses. In each world, you can find a Merchant and purchase Sanctum Modules that temporarily boost your character's speed, strength, or other traits. In addition, you can pick one Assist Character to join you, with special skills.
Also supported is Party Play, a special mode where you and a team of up to 7 other players can go through levels you've beaten- however, you cannot find unlockables, and enemy count and difficulty is bumped up for each player. In the Immerse version, you can invite members from your friends list, and likewise with Steam and your Steam friends. The game also supports 4-player Party Play locally, with splitscreen.
To go to each world, you start from a hub, the Sanctum Between. A floating flat prism disc in white voidspace, here you can find portals to each world in the Inner Sanctum and a merchant. In the center of the disc is the Sanctum Crystal, where the Sanctum Keeper can give you hints and allow you to start a character's Trials or change their costume. Around the Sanctum Between, all your unlocked characters walk around and you can press Y to switch who you're controlling to the character closest to you. By talking to characters, you can activate the dating sim or just get to know what they think.
Another location in Sanctum Between is the Museum, where you can find a variety of mementos from each franchise represented, listen to their soundtracks, and read Sanctumdata to learn about the events that transpired in said franchises. By beating their levels, more Sanctumdata is unlocked (for instance, Homestuck's Sanctumdata from the start only covers up to the end of Act 4, but by beating Land of Wind and Shade, you can unlock data on Act 5 and Act 6) and more mementos are added.
You can also choose to create budding romance between any two characters in the Lethal Manlovely Voyage sidegame, and go through a dating simulator to increase their relationship as a side-game. Relationships are measured in points, ranging from 0 to 150, with 0 being hatred for each other and 150 being the true love of two soulmates. Depending on the characters' moral standing and status with each other (for example, Mighty No. 8 and Beck being enemies), the relationship will start at 30 - 60 points.
Also accessible is the Lethal Manlove Dungeoncrawl, a classical ASCII roguelike game. In this, you pick a character end enter a dungeon. You can move around and interact with objects, and gain armor and weapons. As you slay monsters and bosses you can level up your stats such as attack, defense, and HP.
Yet another sidegame is Lethal Manlove Grand Prix, a racing game accessible from the Sanctum Between. In this minigame, you can race through modified race track versions of the worlds you've beaten (or just Sanctum Between if you haven't beaten any levels yet) on hoverboards. Characters can pick up items such as B-balls to dunk, pies to throw in faces, or the dreaded Blue Shell of Mario Kart infamy, to slow down other racers. You can even see the neat trophies you win in the Sanctum Between, at the museum.
All three sidegames do not directly impact the game, but some Trials require completion or tasks to be done in them. Examples include Shrek, who must get his relationship with Shadow to 150 points to get his Sanctum Guard, or Tahu, who must complete at least 75 'levels' of Dungeoncrawl to get his Tahu Nuva form.
A nice grandma to bake more cookies! While she may seem calm and caring on the outside, she may hold the key to the end of worlds. Grandma is a good character for beginning players, and her attacks include using her rolling pin to flatten enemies and summoning her oven to fire cookies at tough foes.
Antigrandma - the Antigrandma is made of pure antimatter, and can use her Condesoven to launch large beams of cookies. Her rolling pin is also stronger, and enemies remain flat longer.
Mighty No. 9
Straight from the Kickstarter project, it's Mighty No. 9 himself, Beck! Beck's a heroic robot and will do anything he has to do in order to defend people from the rogue Mighty Numbers! In battle, he's prepared with a tank-style transformation to cross obstacles, and a rapid-fire blaster!
Golden Beck - With the power of funding a Sanctum Guard, Beck goes gold and gains even more power! His tank mode moves faster and his blaster can fire even faster- because gold obviously gives these powers to robots.
Taking a break from the meta-physical shenanigans of Homestuck, John Egbert's ready to fight in the Inner Sanctum! Overall, he's a nice guy who's good at handling the crap he's going through. In battle, he can use his Pogo Hammer to make some pretty sweet combos, and summon the Windy Thing to blow away enemies.
Wise Guy John
Heir of Breath - As the Heir of Breath, John has stronger Windy Thing powers, the Warhammer of Zillyhoo, and some pretty sick blue pajamas God Tier clothes.
The Toa Mata of Fire, Tahu is a noble yet hotheaded warrior who's willing to go as far as he must to defend the Matoran and his fellow Toa. He's proven himself as a true hero time and time again, be it against the Bohrok, Rahi, or Makuta himself! He can use his flame sword to slash and burn, and can use his Great Hau to project barriers and block enemies off.
Tahu Nuva - With some Protodermis, Tahu becomes a powerful Toa Nuva! He has dual magma swords to dish out heat on a higher level, and a Hau Nuva to create stronger and bigger barriers.
Mabel's here, and she's ready to solve some mysteries, bedazzle some faces, and show all the universes her great sweaters! She may be a bit ditzy, but Mabel's always there to help her friends and has quite the adventurous spirit. She can use her grappling hook to reach usually un-reachable high places, and can summon Waddles to attack her enemies.
Bedazzled Face Mabel
Strawberry Mabel - Dressed up in her Summerween costume, Mabel is ready to put a lid on evil... yeah! Her grappling hook has homing abilities and longer range, and Waddles (dressed up adorably as a slice of bread) is more aggressive to protect Mabel's Summerween candy stash.
Shrek is one ogrewhelming onionigma of a guy, with a heart of gold under layers of gruffness. Ever since he got his ending in Shrek Forever After, Shrek's been hungry for more adventure, and found his new flame Shadow when the universes melded. When fighting, Shrek uses his fists to wrestle down enemies, and he can also toss swamp grenades made from onions that unleash the essence of the swamp unto his foes.
Desu Shrek Shoujo - With his henshin complete, Desu Shrek Shoujo takes the stage with his mahou shoujo powers! His fists are powered up by his frilled gloves, and his swamp grenades unleash bursts of majykkz.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Shadow is too edgy for other Umbrella Games, so he's come to play in Lethal Manlove Voyage- and the title fits him like a glove more than anyone else. After SEGA decided Sonic needed to be alone, Shadow looked for love in all the wrong places until he found it in the least likely place- the swamp. In his fight alongside Shrek, he uses Chaos Control to slow down enemies and Chaos Spear to blast them.
Super Shadow - With the power of the Chaos Emeralds and love, Shadow goes super! His Chaos Controls last longer to make enemies sluggish, and his Chaos Spears become Chaos Blasts with a big radius of damage!
Always a strong team member, Electivire is the final form of Elekid and a powerful Electric-type. It can unleash 20,000 volts of electricity upon its enemy just using its tails and its natural energy. When in the Inner Sanctum, Electivire uses Thunder Punch to beat up whatever stands in its way, and can use Bulldoze to move fast while dealing damage.
Shiny Electivire - When it gains the power of a Sanctum Guard, Electivire gains orange-yellow fur and blue eyes. Its fists are charged up to the fullest and deal more shock damage, and it can move faster with its Bulldoze attacks.
A past incarnation of Finn the Human, Shoko is a mercenary with mysterious ties to Ooo's past. She showed up in an early Candy Kingdom, helped Princess Bubblegum make some Gumball Guardians, stole an amulet, and died, an irradiated beast. She can use her dagger to fight off enemies, and can summon her tiger to ride upon!
Mutant Shoko - Having fallen into a toxic waste river, Shoko became a giant mutant thing. Unlike most Sanctum Guard forms, Mutant Shoko has different attacks- she can slam into enemies or fire blasts from PB's amulet.
Kamen Rider V3
Kamen Rider... V3! The third out of several Kamen Riders, V3's secret identity is Shiro Kazami, a college student who was targeted by the evil Destron organization. Aftr an encounter with his family dead, Shiro was taken by the original duo of Kamen Riders and made into a new, stronger Rider- V3. He can use his enhanced physical ability to land decisive kicks, and use one of his powers, the Red Bone Power, to unleash concentrated blasts from his chest.

In the Inner Sanctum, Gaim is a nimble fighter, and he can shift Arms to use Orange, Pine, or Ichigo Arms and their skills.
Kamen Rider Baron
Kamen Rider Ryugen
Kamen Rider Zangetsu
Kachidoki Arms - Though his speed goes down and he can't shift Arms, Kota's new form created by DJ Sagara is much stronger and can use his DJ Gun.
Atlas and P-body
The cooperative testing duo of Altas and P-body enter the Inner Sanctum! Built by GLaDOS for cooperative testing of the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, this dynamic pair of bots are always on the move from chamber to chamber, scoring Science Collaboration Points. In their fight for the Inner Sanctum, you control both of them at the same time- P-body is carrying its trusty portal gun to create portals, while Atlas uses his trusty robotic kung-fu to fight off birds evil.
Beautiful Bots - With truly powerful hats equipped, Atlas and P-body move up from 'formidable opponent' to 'deity-slaying manly men of action'. P-body's portals can be shot on more surfaces due to the truly awe-inspiring Bionic Beanie, and Atlas wears the hat of a true champion, the Master's Yellow Belt. To top it off, both are in their best Paint Jobs.
The Legend of Zelda
Straight from Wind Waker, it's Toon Link, the Hero of Winds, and he's ready to face off with enemies in the Inner Sanctum! Once just a normal boy living on Outset Island, his sister got taken by a bird, he joined a pirate crew lead by a girl who was actually Princess Zelda, found out his world was a flooded Hyrule, and killed Ganondorf- quite the odd story. He can use the Hero's Sword to slash enemies down, and can summon the winds with his Wind Waker.
Pajamas Toon Link
Engineer Toon Link
Minish Cap Link
Hero of the Winds - Having proven himself the true chosen hero, Toon Link emits a gold aura like that of the Triforce. He has his Master Sword with stronger slashes to defeat foes, and the winds summoned by his Wind Waker are much stronger than before.
One of the Warner Brothers (and the Warner sister, Dot), Yakko Warner joins the battle in the Inner Sanctum, using his slapstick comedy to great effect. Created in 1930, the Warners were deemed too chaotic to have their cartoons released, and spent years locked in the Warner Brothers studio water tower. However, in 1993, they escaped to wreak havoc! While not much of a fighter, Yakko can use gags such as anvils to the head to attack enemies, and begin reciting all the nations to hit enemies with his pointer.
Warners - with his Sanctum Guard, Yakko brings triple trouble with his siblings, Wakko and Dot! No longer are you prohibited to one anvil- nay, you can let three anvils ring! Along with this, Wakko and Dot will join in helping Yakko sing all the words in the English alphabet, with three pointers to boot.
GokaiRed, also known as Captain Marvelous, is pirate captain of the Gokaigers, pilot of the Gokai Galleon, and the leader of the 35th Super Sentai. Trained in the ways of a pirate by AkaRed, Marvelous uses the powers of his predecessors to defeat evil across the galaxy. While he seems a bit rough, he eventually warms up to Earth and embraces the title of the 35th Super Sentai. He can use his GokaiSabre to attack, and Gokai Change into ShinkenRed (who uses faster attacks) or DekaRed (who can use his D Magnum).
Super GokaiRed - Using the amazing power of the Super Sentai 199, GokaiRed glows with the energy of the past Reds! His GokaiSabre becomes stronger, and he can Gokai Change into Hyper ShinkenRed (with the Kyoryumaru) or DekaRed SWAT Mode (with the D-Revolver) to face evil.
LAUNCH TIME! Haruko Haruhara is a first class space patrol officer... or at least, that's what she says. Landing in the small town of Mabase, Haruko quickly become a friend.. or rival... or big sister... or something to Naota. Her skills in the Inner Sanctum include riding around on her iconic yellow Vespa and hitting things with her guitar.
Space Patrol Haruko
Atomsk Power - Harnessing the energy of Pirate King Atomsk, Haruko glows red with energy and has much spikier hair. She now dual-wields guitars and her Vespa gains a red aura and the ability to hover.
Once known as Orion Pax, Optimus Prime is the brave leader of the Autobots, one of the two sides in a massive war on the planet Cybertron that landed on Earth. A father to his men, Optimus transforms into an iconic red truck - one of his most useful skills in the Inner Sanctum. While his large size hinders his agility, he's a strong fighter and can use his blaster to mow down enemies.
Matrix Power - Fueled by the ancient energy of the Matrix of Leadership, Optimus gets additional firepower in both forms and becomes lighter.

In battle she uses her walking cane to pap the bad guys, and OBJECTs to their actions, briefly stunning them.

Truly the most lovable and popular character in Homestuck, the Wayward Vagabond is a true hero, and a leader to every can and wocan. He is from far into the future, but not too far, was a helper to John Egbert early on, and is a friend to his fellow exiles- in fact, it was largely his doing that they came together in crisis. When he is fighting for the Sanctum, he can use his trusty knife on a stick to stabbity foes, and can toss shaken cans of sugary elixir called TAB to totally explode foes.
TABinized WV - after chugging down several cans of TAB, Wayward Vagabond emits a pink aura of pure sugar and gains speed and power. His knife on a stick has longer range, and his make-shift TAB grenades cause bigger explosions at the cost of acting as time bombs rather than insta-explosives.
