Lego Spider-Man is an action-adventure video game developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, it is a spin-off of the 2013 game Lego Marvel Super Heroes. It was released on November 10, 2016.
Like Lego Marvel Super Heroes, players are able to control various characters from the Marvel Universe (namely those associated heavily with Spider-Man), each with their own unique powers and abilities, and New York City is fully-explorable.
Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Carnage, Rhino, and Alistair Smythe have teamed up with plans to finally eradicate Spider-Man utilizing not only their own powers but an army of robots created by Smythe dubbed "Spider-Slayers", programmed to kill Spider-Man and anyone with similar spider powers on sight. With the help of his allies including Black Cat, Venom, and various other spider-powered heroes from the Marvel Universe, Spidey must put an end to this new and improved Sinister Six.
