Gameplay[]
You control Kirby with the Control Pad, and the storyline, characters, and gameplay elements are all the same. Health has been changed to a health bar like in Kirby 's Return to Dreamland and Kirby Triple Deluxe. Also, a second player can join in (even without their own copy of the game) and play as Gooey, from Kirby 's Dreamland 3. (The two play the same)
Items[]
Star: Collect 100 and you'll get a 1-up.
Food: Restores your health.
Maximum Tomato: Restores health to 100%.
1-up: Grants an extra life.
Crystal Shards: A major plot point. All of these are scattered in hidden locations and must all be collected in order to get the Best ending.
Info Card: Displays enemy info.
Multiplayer[]
A second player can join in for story mode or the all new Party Mode (an expanded version of the originals mini-games)
Gooey is the blue blob from the very underrated Kirby 's Dreamland 3.
