Daroach is one of the playable characters encountered in Meta Knight's story route. He's first seen traversing the fields of Rainbow Route to try and find whatever goods he can acquire. However, when he's found out, he's quickly recruited to Meta Knight's army as "community service." With his triple star, he utilizes ranged attacks in order to devastate foes from far away, though many of his attacks require him to stand still. With his claws, he gets in close to unleash several quick, painful strikes, which allow him to travel forwards a fair distance.

Triple Star[]
- X - An attack that depends on a magic bar hanging below Daroach's healthbar. It gets larger whenever Daroach uses a combo finisher. When X is pressed, he sends forth a powerful, icy beam, and is able to strafe left and right to drag the ice beam around. This beam lasts for as long as there's something in the magic bar.
- YYYYY - Daroach begins by swiping his triple star rod in front of himself, sending forth three stars that launch in front of him a short distance. Then, he lunges forwards before slicing diagonally upwards, producing three more stars that fly forwards. Then he retreats, his cape flapping in the wind, as he swings downwards and unleashes three stars, one hitting close to him, one hitting further from him, and one hitting further away. Then, with a jab forwards, he thrusts his star rod forwards, sending three stars that travel in a linear distance forwards. Finally, he plants his triple star rod onto the ground, then, with enough force to drag it upwards, he sends a wave of stars up towards the sky, hitting foes upwards repeatedly.
