Jr. Rock & Watch's first game appearance was in Nintendo Stars:The Beginning. As Mr. Game & Watch's son, he is built in the same 2D shape as his father. He resides in Flat Zone but does not like the environment there. He hates his own father, and does not listen to a word he says. He says his rock music is far cooler than his father's loud and annoying beeping sounds which he has much pride into. What makes him much different than his father is his appearance. Jr. Rock & Watch is completely white rather than black. He dones a moehawk atop his head and has and lip ring.

As a boss
In Nintendo Stars:The Beginning, Jr. Rock & Watch was completely tired of his father and his habits. He got a call from a mystery man telling him if he was sick and tired of his father, to reunite as much 2d baddies as he could and enter the vortex which would appear as soon as he was ready. So he did as he was told and entered the vortex with his army. As he arrived in the Underwater Kingdom he was told that his father would arrive any moment so he should prepare himself to fight. Rather than do what he was told, he listened to rock music until the 4 heroes arrived. They defeated him and his army, so he left back to a mysterious base. He was the 3rd boss of the 1st chapter.
As a boss again
Jr. Rock & Watch is set to appear as a boss once again, this time in Nintendo Stars:The Beginning's sequel, Nintendo Stars:The Adventure.
As a playable character?
Jr. Rock & Watch will appear in the 3rd and last installment of the Nintendo Stars series, Nintendo Stars:The End. Although unconfirmed, rumor has it that he will be a playable character rather than a boss this time.
Jr. Rock & Watch appears in Fantendo Wasteland as a resident of The Wasteland. He resides in his home of Rock Stadium, a huge concert stadium that eternally plays Rock & Watch concerts. He is happy that he is away from his father and loves to rock in the stadium, but his isolation has caused him to become somewhat mentally unstable. He traps the users in his concert stadium, which is much more dangerous than it first appears.
During Chapter 10: The Great Escape, Leah and the group wander into his Rock Concert. After Leah insults his music, he locks the doors and battles with them.
- Rather than have a bell as a taunt, Jr. Rock & Watch has a music note.
- Humorously, Jr. Rock & Watch also speaks with beeping sounds, althought his are much deeper than his father's.
- His name comes from his own handheld series of games, the Rock & Watch.
