InFamous: Child of Lightning is a spin-off game from Sony's non-Fanon game, inFamous. Instead, the game will be for the Wii and Nintendo DS. The will will have three-dimensional graphics while the DS version will remain two-dimensional. We will bring to you more info as time goes on.
The plot is similar to the original game, inFamous. The player takes the role of either:
a) Blake McGrath
b) Zoë McGrath
They will choose the character upon the desired gender. Blake and Zoë McGrath (approximately fourteen-years-old), two siblings who don't really get along with each other, are the children of Cole McGrath. Cole, being the original character from Sony's inFamous, and his two children live in Empire City. It has been years since the first apocalypse occurred. The city was reestablishing itself when another apocalypse happened. And guess what? It was the same event as before---a massive explosion wiped out everything in Empire City.
The player first finds themself waking up after the explosion. They must find the character's sibling and father. The father mysteriously disappeared, but the sibling could be found buried underneath piles of rubble. Once they have rescued their sibling, a cut-scene will play. It will tell of how the father, Cole McGrath, had experienced the same apocalypse as before. After the cut-scene, the game will officially "begin".
More info as time goes on.
The game takes place in fictional Empire City, laid across three islands: the Neon District where many businesses and entertainment venues are located, the Warren District where goods are shipped into and out of the city (also the biggest of the three), and the Historical District, the smallest of the three islands. The districts are connected by bridges, and each district has its own elevated train system. At the start of the game, six blocks of the Historical District are wiped out by an explosion from a bio-electrical device called the Ray Sphere. A plague develops soon afterwards, forcing the government to quarantine the region. In doing so they block the only bridge to the mainland from the city, causing societal collapse within the isolated city.
Blake McGrath—One of the two main characters. He is playable if you choose to be a boy.
Zoë McGrath—One of the two main characters. She is playable if you choose to be a girl.
To be Announced
The Nintendo DS will have a smaller plot than the Wii version. Also, it will have poorer graphics. More information will come.
