"Imaginary" is a survival horror game made by Icy Cold Gaming Industries for the PC. The game is a first person-roaming game in which you assume the role of Bernard Coleman, a 15 year old boy who explores what appears to be a barren wasteland based on his hometown. The game will have gameplay like the Half-Life games, along with new elements added into the mix.

The game is scheduled to have 2 sequels, with one being a prequel.

Gameplay[]

As said above, the game plays similarly to the two Half-Life games: a first person roaming game in which you can switch weapons and attacks enemies. However, there are new elements added in to make the game fresh. For one, you now have a flashlight. The game takes place in a mostly dark landspace, so the flashlight would give some light to see a bit more of your surroundings. Another new mechanic is "Shifting Reality." This new feature comes up when the entire world your in flips in different directions, such as upside-down or sideways. This makes for a new way to solve puzzles in a new way.

Story[]

"Are you afraid of me?"

A teenager named Bernard Coleman has just graduated highschool and is on his way to college. After his first day, he gets assaulted, and Bernard soon lands in the hospital, knocked out. When he wakes up, he's in his house, but it seems to be all gray. He walks outside, only to see a young child, about the age of a 2nd grader. Despite the child's age, he seems to pin down Bernard, calling himself John. Bernard realizes that "John" was his imaginary friend back in 2nd grade.

John informs Bernard that this was his hometown back in 2nd grade, but ever since he grew up, the place fell into a state of emptiness and despair, and all his previous friends and family from his past. John tells Bernard that if he fixes the relationships with all his old friends, he'll let him wake up. If he fails, he dies in his sleep.
