A listing of all playable characters in Heroforce.
"Hya ha! Das Ass Schützen Streiks wieder!"
|The Hero chosen by the Gremilda race. An expert pilot and gunner, Ace is well-versed in German as opposed to the galactic standard of English, and is a crazy, confusing influence on the battlefield. His gatling gun arm cannon is powerful and has a high rate of fire, but requires the player to spin the barrel with the secondary attack before firing.||TBA||TBA|
"Wait, we're fighting already? One sec, I'm eating."
|The Hero chosen by the Gluconian race. Normally, the slender Gluconians have a metabolism so high that they must be constantly eating to stay alive. Ambrosium is the same, except due to the culture collision that is Coronite, he wound up getting ahold of some Terran candy, which he is now addicted to. Ambrosium is a highly fast character, who specializes in comboing opponents with his main weapons, two sleek daggers made of a steel-deitium alloy.|
"Hey there, hot stuff. Why don't you stop fighting for a second and come get a real reward?"
|The Hero chosen by the Sukubian people. A master of deception and illusion, Amoir is one of the most dangerous Heroes in the game. Interestingly enough, Sukubians take the form of an attractive specimen of whatever species happens to see them, so Amoir always appears to be human- aside from her pair of Marx-esque wings. Amoir specializes in dark magic and supporting of her teammates.|
"There's a reason I do what I do... In this world, it's kill or be killed."
|The Hero chosen by the K'harna race. Arachnid in biology but humanoid in form, Arakna combines the deadliest traits of both species to become a master assassin. She specializes in assassination, getting the drop on her opponents (sometimes literally) before stabbing them in the back for a 1-hit kill. She can also use many techniques to poison her foes.||TBA||TBA|
|The Hero chosen by the Powerk race. A war-torn wasteland, the porcine Powerk wear heavy combat/hazmat suits at all times to protect them from all possible hazards. Baekind acts like a stereotypical WWII-era shooter character, except for one thing- aside from his flame shotgun, all of his attacks are a variant on the grenade, making him a very aiming-heavy character.|
"Looks like SOMEONE tried getting out of their base again. Sic 'em, boys."
|The Hero chosen by the Promakan race. As the AI behind the mechanical race, BUNKR was really the only option that they could have picked. He brings his skill at manipulation and strategy to the battlefield- while he can't do much in a direct fight, BUNKR can get a bird's-eye view and control the flow of battle from safe inside his base.||TBA||TBA|
"NYA! Someone tell me who shot that! That almost burned my fur off!"
|The Hero chosen by the Felinis people. While the small kitten-like being might look like nothing more than a normal cat cosplaying as Chrom, Cat Sith is a master sorcerer and uses his furry cuteness as a method of motivation for his teammates. Cat Sith's signature weapon is an iron staff tipped with a small gem, which he uses to focus his magic power. He specializes in zoning attacks and forcing enemies to move from spots they might find advantageous.|
"F-Five seconds until detonation..."
|The Hero chosen by the Livermorian race. A race of uranium-based lifeforms, Livermorians breed like rabbits and have the lifespan of mayflies. D'kay takes advantage of the game's respawning technology to return after death- and weaponize said death, due to the nuclear explosion that follows his demise.||TBA||TBA|
"Beat up on me all you want. It takes your mind off my friends."
|The Hero chosen by the Sabagan race. Dono is unique in that his specials, which run the gamut of offensive, defensive, and support powers, charge differently from everyone else. Instead of charging as he attacks enemies, they are filled as he is attacked. Luckily, Dono has very high defense and health to make up for this.||TBA||TBA|
"Muahahahah... Where is your deity now, peasants?"
|The Hero chosen by the Viktran people. While he actually is a doctor, the insane Geotas is no medic. This Victor Frankenstein-inspired Hero is designed to generate massive rush attacks on opponents with both his electrokinetic powers and his ability to create zombie-like minions, which die in a single hit, but attack in massive swarms.|
"I might be a doctor, but zat does not mean I don't fight. After all, you cannot have ze doctor without ze pain."
|The Hero chosen by the Medici race. The slug-like Karagon is a master surgeon and nanoroboticist, and his main role on the battlefield is zone control. Via his small floating drone, he can create fields of healing nanobots for his allies, or debuff or damage fields to drive off opponents.|
|The Hero chosen by the Krazenite race. Tiny gremlin-like monsters, they have low intelligence and have a habit of fiddling with machinery. Esipi starts out incredibly weak, more of an annoyance than a Hero, but with consecutive uses of his Evolution Overdrive attack, he can become the most powerful entity in the game.||TBA||TBA|
|The Hero chosen by the people of Terra. Originally a model soldier, she attempted to convince her superiors to leave Coronite alone. In response, she was sentenced to help take over the planet for her people. Fera wears normal Terran combat armor, which is a rather bulky suit of armor equipped with a small antigravity engine, and she wields an energy spear and a ion-absorption shield, which can guard against almost any attack.|
"MUAHAHAHAHA! You dare defy your superior?! Stand there while blast you into 1.734 million pieces- give or take three or four. HAHAHA!"
|The Hero chosen by the Lambonite race. A monstrous kaiju-like lizard with an equally monstrous ego and sense of humor, this war veteran wields a powerful rocket launcher, capable of firing the strongest non-Overdrive projectiles in the game. However, he's quite slow and has a large hitbox, making him rather vulnerable.|
"YOU HAVE ENTERED THE LINE OF FIRE. YOU SHALL BE PUNISHED."
|The Hero chosen by the Mashunian race. Naturally small, they are masters of taming beasts, even building their own houses on the massive scorpion-like beasts they use as livestock. Gitabilium is a legendary large creature, so large that it actually functions as a platform for ally and enemy alike. Girtabilium is a purely assault-focused Hero, having 4 CPU-controlled turrets, two claw-based gatling guns for light attacks, and a powerful photon cannon for heavy attacks.|
"Glory? Admiration? Who gives a slaggark's behind 'bout that? I'm in this for the cash!"
|The Hero "chosen" by the Vulkon people. Why the quotation marks? Well, Gog is a bounty hunter, not wanting to actually assist his species more than getting a ton of cold hard cash in return. However, he does have sympathy for Fera, the original hero. Gog's primary weapon is his cyborg arm, which doubles as a powerful multi-purpose weapon.|
"Out of all the weapons in the universe... I find that the most devastating can be a living creature."
|The Hero chosen by the Niopin race. A collector of weaponry from all corners of the universe, Kaiben has currently collected 9999 in all, and is well versed in the use of all of them. Kaiben's playstyle is focused around his weapons, using them as melee weapons, throwing them as projectiles, and even switching between one of four stances for unique light and heavy attacks.||TBA||TBA|
"I can tell you will continue fighting as long as you remain on this planet. A shame- I have no choice but to remove you myself."
|A Hero who represents no planet, and is actually just trying to keep all the other Heroes off of Coronite. He seems to genuinely dislike taking the life of another, and will often team up with other Heroes who have less of an aversion (and he'll eventually turn on them anyway). While Lucius wields no weaponry and wears robes made of some highly dense cloth as opposed to armor, this wandering warrior possesses the ability to manipulate a substance called "plasma", which takes the form of green electric fire.|
"I am both envious and concerned for you organic lifeforms. You are capable of death, whereas I am not. I still desire to feel the sensation- causing it in you should be a close substitute."
|The Hero selected by the Adamanti race. Beings of pure liquid metal, the Adamanti run foundries to keep production of their race assured. Magnara's goal is to secure Coronite for them and tap its resources to keep the foundries going. Magnara is capable of turning into a puddle of mercury-like metal in order to traverse the environment quickly and avoid conflict- though she can shape her liquid body into many types of bladed weapons should combat be a necessity.||TBA||TBA|
"The time has come for Coronite- no, the time has come for the entire universe to bow down before me!"
|The Hero chosen by the Halcanian people- if you can call him a hero, that is. Mahoroa is completely evil, and seeks to dominate all of Coronite not for the Halcanians, but for himself to rule. This evildoer possesses magic powers similar to Cat Sith, but is more straightforward in its use, making him a very powerful character who specializes in all-out assault.|
"You fools are too quick to leap into action. Sometimes, it's simply easier to employ a little... illusion."
|The Hero chosen by the Zeogoptera race. The queen of the largest country on the planet, she is also a highly skilled mage, capable of casting illusions to manipulate any who dare oppose her. In battle, she does just that, casting mirage fields to cloak herself and allies while creating fake holograms or disguising herself as the enemy.||TBA||TBA|
|A deity worshipped by the Garaga race, this winged snake-like creature is considered a harbinger of destruction wherever it goes. It is a massive creature with the power of flight, and relies on bombarding the ground with powerful lasers. Be careful, as it can be grounded and become helpless if it takes too much damage!||TBA||TBA|
"Nothing escapes my sight. Not even... Oh jeez, what is that? Seriously, what the hades is that?! I honestly wish I didn't see that. "
|The Hero chosen by the Cornean race. Naturally blind, the bat-like race usually use sonar to find their way. Not Okkus, who after years of studying the dark arts, created a legion of six eye-like demons to do the seeing for him. Okkus is the ultimate security guard character, able to leave eye mines around the battlefield and become alerted when a foe, even an invisible one, comes near it.|
"Err, mistress Fera? Where'd you go? Don't tell me you abandoned me in the battlefield again!"
|A robotic Hero that represents the junkyard planet of Scrapworld. Originally a butler robot, he was outfitted with large amounts of weaponry by his owner and sent into the battle for Coronite. Oddly enough, he appears to have developed a master-servant relationship with Fera. PK-25 can shift between several forms, ranging from a stationary laser turret to a flying guard drone.|
|A Hero that nobody whatsoever expected. The protodrake is a creature native to Coronite; this prepubescent specimen simply wandered into a battle zone one day and began following random Heroes as if they were parental figures. Protodrake specializes in crowd control, creating blasts of wind and energy with explosive properties to keep enemies from ganging together.||TBA||TBA|
"You do realize my power extends to far more than you can possibly imagine, correct?"
|The Hero chosen by the Speudopod race. Literally nervous systems with shells, the tiny one-eyed Speudopods evolved to be able to telekinetically control water, including the water-like tentacles that now grow from their bodies. Pseudosa starts of minuscule, but can absorb water from various sources to create a massive bubble, which he can manipulate how he desires.||TBA||TBA|
"Darlin', ya know I'm gonna lay the fresh beats on ya one way or another. Get out da way before ya get silenced fa good."
|The Hero chosen by the Onoid race. The Onoid religious is based on worshipping weather gods by giving them classical, drum-based music... which Rai Rai turns upside down with his digitized brand of combat music. The electric rapper is a support Hero, using both music and weather control to create healing and passive effects for his team.||TBA||TBA|
"Sure, you guys can charge headlong into battle. But when you get utterly destroyed, I'll be the one tending the wounds!"
|The Hero chosen by the Lillius people. Originally the princess of a relatively small nation, she fled the country after someone attempted to assassinate her in order to gain the crown. She was selected as a Hero under a disguise, which she dropped completely upon arrival to Coronite. This plant-like Hero is possibly the most healing-focused character in the game, to the point where she has no specials that don't heal something. For a weapon, she utilizes the Royal Staff, a large scepter-like tool that also possesses a whip-like beam of energy.|
|The Hero chosen by the Genisnes race. Bizarrely for a living being, Genisnites have very choppy movements (think Mr. Game and Watch and you've got the jist of how he moves). Retron was designed to pretty much be a playable variation of the infamous Kirby boss, Computer Virus, as he traps opponents in an inescapable sphere and alternates between invincible attacking periods and vulnerable periods where he can only evade attacks.|
"Uh, Senryo? What are you..." "THINK OF THE RATINGS!"
|The Hero chosen by the Niponite race. Like most male birds, the Niponite males are incredible attention whores, with Senryo, the host of the Solus System's biggest television network, being the biggest of them all. This focus on attention feeds into his gameplay; Senryo possesses a Ratings meter, which fills as he attacks and lowers as he gets hit. His specials run on Ratings as opposed to cooldown, making them finite but spammable is used right.|
"Scuttle along, li'l varmints! I got the eyes of a hawk, and the aim of ol' Bill Tell... Ain't nothin' that can stop me!"
|The Hero... "chosen" by the denizens of Scummolt. An asteroid at the edge of the Solus System, it's a haven for criminals of all kinds. The Terrans attempted sending a series of robots named Serifs to act as a police force- but the only surviving Serif went haywire, acting as a crazy sheriff. Needless to say, they kicked him out. Serif-001 is a powerful gunslinger, with his vintage Old Earth pistols giving him upsides and downsides- his shots are far more powerful than energy blasts, but he actually has limited ammo.||TBA||TBA|
"Boom. Dead. Boom. Dead again. Boom. Boom. Boom. That's all it takes. A sniper like me could've killed you over nine-thousand times by now."
|The Hero chosen by the Arakanix people. This hunched, scorpion-like Hero has honed his skills in his planet's gladiatorial arenas, and now he puts his sniping skills to use. Skoru'Da is an amazing sniper, if not the best in all of Heroforce, and his custom Araknide Dual Rifle can function as an assault rifle for light attacks and a powerful sniper rifle for heavy attacks.|
"It's not enough to manipulate the fabric of time and space. You have to conquer it, take direct control. Only then will you gain unlimited power."
|The Hero chosen by the Cyphelia race. Telyphra is the smartest being on the planet, having developed a method of interdimensional travel known as "quantum shifting". Of course, this is also her main attribute in battle. She acts a support Hero, creating portals to hop from one end of the map to the other or to summon interdimensional entities to serve as sentries.|
"I live for the hunt. That means you die for the hunt."
|A Hero who supposedly represents the Khyberian race... which is a lie. The master huntsman killed the original representative under orders from Lucius, who paid him to take out other Heroes and clear off Coronite. Toxin is capable of fighting from two fronts at once, as he possesses a Khyberian Sectrahound as an AI ally that obeys his commands.|
|The Hero chosen by the Taranaran race. A massive creature that resembles a fusion of a spider, crab, and siege tank, Trench is a true force to be reckoned with. Trench specializes in isolating opponents with gravity wells, trapping them in place, before firing a deadly arc of plasma at their position.||TBA||TBA|
"mY pOWERS aRE fAR bEYOND yOUR cOMPREHENSION. tOO bAD fOR yOU."
|The Hero chosen by the Nebulex race. A nebuloid life form from deep space, the Nebulex have more in common with stars than carbon-based lifeforms, and as such, are feared and outcast as eldritch monsters. While they are very much not eldritch in origin, their powers say otherwise. Upsidious acts as a variant on the support Hero, focusing on debuffing and otherwise hindering the opponent with status effects.|
"Your life is at an end, puny creature. How does it feel to have it ended by my hands? Oh, wait. You won't feel it for long! HAHAHAHAHA!"
|The Hero... that wasn't really chosen by anyone. Formerly a Terran scientist who was imprisoned for illegal research into WMDs, he was sprung from jail by Lucius in his quest to drive the Heroes off of Coronite. Vilanis fights inside his custom mecha, a floating Andross-esque robot that consists of a floating head and two hands. Gameplay-wise, Vilanis specializes in (of course) assault on large groups of enemies due to his area-based attacks.|
"Oh... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you..."
|The Hero chosen by the Spectralite race. Shy, afraid of killing, and actively reluctant to kill, Whisp is the last one you would expect to be a formidable opponent on the battlefield. However, her weapon, the legendary Spectra Lantern, is a powerful item capable of draining life force, making her scarily effective. She possesses cloaking abilities and passive effects to drain enemy health over time, but she cannot fight effectively in a straight battle.||TBA||TBA|
"You are my source material... And yet, you are the greatest threat to my mission. If our superiors could see you now, they would kill you without remorse."
|A Hero developed by the Terran government in a secret military operation called Project PARASITE. It seems to be based off of Fera's genetic code... but combined with something much more sinister in origin. It/she is completely dedicated to achieving Terran dominion over the superplanet, even if the original Terran Hero is killed. Widi is well-rounded like its predecessor, but is less defensive and more agile, and uses electrical moves somewhat similar to Lucius's.||TBA||TBA|
"Hmph. I see you wield a gun. A cold weapon designed to be impersonal. To avoid a challenge altogether. And they call us swordsmen barbarians."
|The Hero chosen by the Valinatite people. Xyzor is the embodiment of a serious swordsman, believing all gun users to be cowards too scared to enter a legitimate duel. Xyzor's main weapon is the Photosaber, a blade made of light that has a joint in the middle, making them act like a large pair of scissors.|
"The true place of sentient beings is to grovel below the superior beings that create them. I am but a humble messenger of those creators."
|The Hero chosen by the Arakanghel race. Zazryal is leader of the Solus System's Christian religion, odd considering that the zealot isn't even from the planet of the religion's origin. He acts as a support and offense Hero, using skills to buff his allies before blasting his foes with beams of divine radiance.||TBA||TBA|
